If Valt loses I guess my favorite character goes down. Nothing much to it considering this entire season. Even if that still doesn't make much sense since Lean is really digging that battle with Valt th. Finals would kinda make more sense that way.

Still not ruling out the possibilty of Hyuga winning tho.

Brave Valkyrie is my favorite bey, and Valt is my favorite character even if he's a bit overrated.

This will be the third time an antagonist challenges Valt to a battle but doesn´t happen. Back in Choz Phi challenged him to a battle but waited until every legendary blader got destroyed. In GT Arthur challeneged him and Aiga to a battle but never happened except Aiga did battle and lose to Arthur. And finally In Sparking but I doubt it will happen

Stepping away from the argument if its logically possible for Hyuga to beat Valt in the first place, I wonder what strategies Hyuga could use (even subconsciously)

The preview really didn't really hype me up but okay I think Valt will win with a score of 2-1.

Not really, since the whole point is to beat the legends. Lean is literally a legend hunter and to not battle Valt, one of the most prominent ones, would kinda be weird.

Analyzing the battle to see if Hyperion could win (plot armor aside)

So we first see Valtryek evading attacks, then going in for a clash. Then It Tails Hyperion and repeatedly strikes it.
Looks like Valt's plan is to dodge, wait till the time is right, then attack.

We first see Hyuga doing normal Hyuga things and just going into attack and clash.
Then it is tailed and hit by Valtryek, but Exceeds speeds up and it swings around for a counter attack.
At first Hyuga is just going in swinging but looks like its going to be mostly counter attacking then going full force at an opening.

So we've established Exceed, when speeding up, can evade Valtryek. Doing this multiple times and counter attacking would be easy hits for Hyuga.
But Valt isnt going down that easy. He'll most likely use Evolution to speed up or go onto a speed cradle. Regardless, its coming fast from an unknown angle.
Could be instant death but Hyperion can survive that, and the battle would be to short anyways.

So after taking some bound wings Hyperion would not only be suffering from stamina, it would also be close to bursting.
At this point point the only thing I could see happening is Exceed wearing down. Completely? Maybe not, but wearing down regardless.
So at this point, Hyperion should just be able to keep up with Valtryek. However in attack power, not so much.

But Hyperion can still easily just evade and attack. After words after getting an opening, just go for it at full force.
Hyperion's burst resistance will suffer ALOT, it will probably burst it a few seconds, and It will also be massively knocked back.
However Valtryek's rubber can absorb some impact, but not being pushed back.

This would earn Hyuga a ring out.

So based on the PREVIEW only, there are ways for Hyuga to win. That being said, there is plenty of ways for Valt too. In the end I'm just doing this for fun.

Well in all honesty its mostly fans that was hyping it up cause of the bladers in it without knowing how it will be done. They not only didnt put all the legends And even left out one of the legends whos clearly their For the festival that should put everyone on guard. We put are hope to high in other words

They never really hyped up the festival though. They just kinda said it will happen soon. The fans hyped up the festival too much.

Personally I think Lane isn’t the worst. IMO Phi was the worst antagonist (but a good character).

Gwyn isnt really an antagonist though, morel ike an obstacle.
