Which is the worst possible reason to dislike a beyblade series. Ive said it once and i'll say it as many times as I need to: Losing ≠ Disrespect.
Though I will admit Wakiya being used strictly as advertisement just doesn't sit right with me and he isn't even my favorite character.
Yeah, but sometimes people do point out the fact that it is the WAY that they lose that's disrespectful. Best example is episode 45's Shu and Lean VS Free and Sisco. Sure, the majority does not always seem to be like that tho.

Fair enough I guess. Tbh another example could be Wakiya as all he did was just spectate and had like 2 battles.
Now that Sparking is finished, what are you top 5 battles/episodes from the season? This is just a means to express one's opinion so there's no need for a heated debate.
Mine:
1. Valt & Rantaro vs Lane & Shu (Episode 48): This battle takes the cake for me. Seeing Valt take out Lane and then having an epic battle with Shu was beyond words. I never thought I'd see Valt and Shu have a no holds battle again so this was a true treat. I love the way the echoed the their epic battle in the International Bladers Cup final (My favorite Beyblade battle) with the white background. The battle was so well animated and seeing Valtryek and Spryzen clash all over the stadium was epic. I gotta say my heart was in my throat as I watched this battle.
2. Lane & Shu vs Hyuga & Hikaru (Episode 52): Honestly I didn't care about the outcome of this battle I knew how it was going to end, and I wasn't invested in the characters participating aside from Shu (nothing was really at stake for Shu in this battle) but even with that, it doesn't negate the pure visual beauty that was this episode. It was beautifully animated, paced and colorful. Top tier animation and action here.
3. Valt vs Hyuga (Episode 29) Valt dominated Hyuga here and I loved it that and the reveal of Brave Flash were a delight to see. I also must add that I thought they were going to make the illogical choice to give Hyuga the W even though he wasn't nearly strong enough to overcome Valt, I was pleasantly surprised. Props to Hyuga though for at the very least holding his own against the world's strongest blader.
4. Lui & Dante vs Rantaro & Hikaru (Episode 25) our first introduction to Hanamaru's animation and boy was it sweet. I was blown away with how expressive the characters were and the visuals were striking. I'd never seen Burst animated in this style before. it was a real treat to see. This was our first introduction to Dante and Lui's interactions as a team and it was glorious lol. I instantly loved every scence they had together. Their personalites played off each other so well. The battle itself was great. Lui's strategic mind was on full display with how he utilized Hikaru's opening strategy against them and used it to activate Dragon'a awakened state. Hikaru's flare up was beautiful to look at and one of things I liked though was that they didn't use his flare for a Deus Ex Machina moment which I thought was coming when he flared. He fell to Raging Upper which made perfect sense. Another great episode and battle.
5. Shu Vs Lane (Episode 33) World first true battle was great to see. I love Spryzen's avatar and Lane getting burst was satisfying to watch.
Sound off. What are your top 5 favorite battles/episodes from Sparking?

Ahh so we’re doing this now. I gotta say, I expected to see a lot of Valt and Free vs Rantaro and Sisco too 5’s but I guess people aren’t quite fond of that one. I honestly find it severely underrated. Now listen, I usually give these big explanations and people who know me would probably expect that I do that but I’ve been typing out paragraphs all day and I honestly don't feel like writing, so forgive me if you actually wanted my full opinion..
1: Valt and Rantaro vs Shu and Lane
2: Free and Silas vs Drum and Lui
3: Aiga and Ranjiro vs Valt and Rantaro
4: Aiga vs Lane
5: Valt and Free vs Silas and Rantaro
I’m gonna do what Valtryek Aoi did and list some honourable mentions in no particular order: Free vs Hyuga (rematch), b group battle royale, Valt and Rantaro vs Hikaru and Hyuga (tiebreaker).

fav battle of the season has to be lane and shu vs valt and rantaro
Top 5 battles imo (not basing it off from animation only)
1.) valt and rantaro vs shu and lean, the reason why this is my number one pick is because how intense and fun the battle is. This battle was overall great paced and have one of my favorite moments in the series that is rantaro sacrificing himself as a decoy to make a surprise attack.
2.) free and sisco vs lui and drum, i put this above hyuga and hikaru vs lean and shu because this battle was more fun and was paced better. The dynamic angles and crazy expression just makes it for me
3.) hyuga and hikaru vs shu and lean, this battle is this low because of the fact that the second battle felt so rushed and the lack of duality feel between the antagonist and protagonist on the positive note this battle has spectacular animation and tgey make flare( the aura) less ugly
4.) hikaru and rantaro vs lui and drum, paced very well the outcome was great and character development!1!1!
5.) hyuga and hikaru vs valt and shu, fun battle it feels very lighthearted which is quite refreshing at that time
Runner ups
6.) valt vs lean
7.) hyuga vs valt
Okay what the hell how does this post got posted before I finished my writing

I wasn’t able to watch a lot of the newer episodes of Sparking, so here are my 5 favorite battles from the part of the season that I watched:
1- Hyuga VS Lui
2- Rantaro and Ranjiro VS Hikaru and Hyuga
3- Ranjiro VS Rantaro
4- Valt VS Hikaru
I chose those battles because, well, I remember those battles, and because I thought they were interesting.

Does anybody know the rankings of Hygua and Hikaru. It's A-teir but has it changed? It should have because they flipping defeated all the top legends. I don't think they are top 5.

If rankings stick around for DB, I think the bros would be in the top 10, but not the Big 5. Lane might be right below them too (or even above, who knows? I mean, Lane has a better record of soloing the Legends...)
Keep in mind I'm talking about the anime.

Well they didn't defeat all the legends in individual matches, so it makes sense that their rankings wouldn't change, and in the tag battles neither of the bros was able to overcome any of the Legends by themselves when they were face to face with a legend, except for that instance with Free and Hyuga. For the most part whenever they 1v1 a legend during the tag battles, the most they could manage was a draw. By the end of Sparking they were still only A-Tier.

There wasn’t really any singles they won. The thing with tag teams is that it doesn’t really display the individual skill of the player, but rather how well they can work together (so it’s not the best for ranking).

Doesn't really make sense to change individual rankings based off a tag team tournament.

Yeah, just figured that out. So their still A-teir. But maybe in DB their rankings will change, we will have to see.
It’s not like the anime uses individual rankings anyways, it’s more like a tier system.
I think Hyuga technically beat Free 1v1 in the tag (not like a single 1v1 counts anyways since most of their matches ended in 2v2). Then again, beating sparking Free isn’t really much of an accomplishment.

anime wise their top 10 not that theirs a ranking in the anime & even if theirs was a ranking they most likely still be top 10 they bros are effective as a ray team rather than individual their tag wins wouldn't count as a individual ranking . but if we're talking about manga their definitively top 5 in the A-tier class Hikaru was A rank #1 after beating fubuki the former rank #1 now #2. Hikaru became rank A5 after beating aiga by burst with a little help of hyuga since it was a 2 vs 1 match but since hikaru did 90% of the job he gets the rank up . now since hyuga beat lane his probably rank 2 or 3 . the reason why is cause of rantaro the ranking seems to work when you get knock out S-tier, you just go 1 rank down which would put rantaro A1 lane knock kumicho out , while one the bros would be 2 or 3 . as for lane it was said his now rank S3 after losing to shu in another rematch
Idk where to comment about this but since surge is the english ver os sparking here we go
I recently saw some parts of ep 7, and I think Lane's voice is great, its sad that the character itself is horrible

I mentioned that feat In my post.
