[/ Spoiler]
This season officially end on 19th of march according to marutti
hello am I the only one who thinks that Beyblade Burst Super King is the worst-scripted season in Beyblade history? A scenario a continuity and a botched coherence, underdeveloped main characters who are completely smothered by the legends. This season is not the consistency of the old seasons and I find it really unfortunate that many like this season just because there are the old ones, while some like Valt and Shu no longer have a place in Burst, they got passed by. three generations.
I hope that we will have in the future other seasons like Gachi where the old ones are little used but relevant and which offers a rather coherent and interesting scenario.

Everyone thinks sparking is the worst(I think).
Probably the worst anime season yeah.

What I will say is that it's probably one of the worst seasons of Burst. I'd still place Turbo at the bottom of the list. At the very least this season was still better plotted than Turbo. There weren't whole arcs that were unnecessary in sparking which can't be said of Turbo.

Yeah I agree, I would say turbo makes the bottom end. Nonetheless he does bring up some good points about sparking.

Oh absolutely. Though Sparking is above Turbo it's still not a good season imo. It's just barely above Turbo.
Here's my list best to worst:
1. Evolution/God
2. Turbo/Super Z
3. Sparking/Surge
4. GT/Rise
5. Season 1 Burst
1. Evolution/God
2. Turbo/Super Z
3. Sparking/Surge
4. GT/Rise
5. Season 1 Burst
C'mon guys turbo isn't THAT bad

yeah but not as bad as sparking
Worst than sparking. At the very least Sparking is better plotted. There are whole arcs of turbo than when removed, have no effect on the overall season. Sparking at the very least is more focused. Both are bad, but sparking does some things better than Turbo.
You guys are saying Turbo and Sparking are bad but your forgetting the actual worst, Shogun Steel. But if your talking only about Burst than I would say Sparking is more worst than Cho-Z, Cho-Z is actually my 2nd favorite season.

Just because there are seasons that are worse, doesn't mean that it therefore deflects the criticisms of the other seasons. The seasons in question don't have to be the absolute worst or even bad for them to be criticised.
I really enjoy G-Revolution, it's one of my favourite seasons, but I'll criticise it whenever I feel it's necessary. It also works the other way around, where I'll praise something in a bad season when they do something really good.

I'd personally pick Cho-Z/Turbo over Sparking, just because Aiga and Phi were more interesting characters than Hyuga and Lean were. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of issues with Cho-Z/Turbo (e.g. throwing away characters really quickly as soon as they finished advertising their toys) but Aiga was at least well-developed.
Sparking is making me appreciate GT a lot more. While there are definitely a ton of really good moments in Sparking it feels really disjointed compared to Gachi, which had a really good self-contained story that flowed quite nicely (or at least the final arc did).
I generally thinks burst should have just gone with this whole “supernatural” story theme straight after turbo. Gt was just an extremely soft reboot of the cho z concept while sparking was an innovative, but ultimately inevitably broken concept.

I mean I do like aiga, hes cool, it's just I dont like cho-z that much.
Our expectations shouldn't have to become "at least it isn't this bad season". While Burst is a toyetic anime and is aimed for a slightly younger audience, we should expect some level of quality for it. If we have to set the bar much lower for the Burst seasons to enjoy it, then what does it really say about your opinions on the Burst seasons?
Personally, even while keeping the fact it's aiming a slightly younger demographic in mind, I put a similar level of expectation of Burst as I would for MFB or the original trilogy, at least those saga's on average.
As for Sparking, this won't necessarily be my final opinion as it does have a few episodes left, and the most important ones. With that being said, Sparking is an awful season so far. It's hard to say if it's the worst, but it's up there at least.
I think Chouzetsu, while not great either, was way better, because Aiga isn't a flat one dimensional piece of trash main character like Hyuga is, and actually develops from a total jerk to being one of the most humble characters in the show (more specifically in his appearances in GT & Sparking).

Yeah, I've seen some people use the "at least it's not as bad as X season, therefore your criticisms are invalid" as a way to avoid addressing the issues with Burst. I won't blindly praise or criticise a season. I'll try to give both pros and cons, no matter how good or bad a season turned out to be.

I wouldn't say it's an awful season, but it's definitely a flawed season with a so many great ideas but lackluster payoff in some of those areas (e.g. Free's "revenge" on Lean, rushed character arcs).
