Helios hits Lucius from above with his jumping dive bomb attack. It jumps up yet again. Lucius is unstabilizied and Lain is mad, so he goes Berserk mode and Lucius' tip drifts and speeds up. To even speed up it has to be at an angle, and it also hit Helios at an angle, which is below the ring and directly at the forge disc. Helios bursts and Hikaru feels like he let down Shu and Helios and starts tearing up. Hyuga gets really mad and remembers the time Hikaru sacrificed Helios to protect Hyperion. and the time Hikaru used Helios to shield Hyperion from Achilles, and the words of encourage he gave Hyuga, and gets super fired up. He immediately launches his bey at Lucius who is still spinning in the arena. They both clash and Hyperion's Limit Break activates, which is enough to knock away Lucius. Hyuga is able to activate the flaming hair for the first time (When they do it in the manga they do it to signify they're at full power and are usually also at Limit Break, they don't just do it to power up). Hyuga uses Exceed+ to speed up super fast and hit Lucius before it could swing around for a counter attack and knocks it out of the stadium. Now Lain is mad beyond belief and just snaps. He fiercely walks towards Shu. Hyuga tris to block him but is thrown against the wall. Lain yells in Shu's face about how he was harsh and made him believe he was weak and a disaster, so he went to great lengths and ruined himself. Su is the reason why Lain is this way (which is true, but a harsh way of putting it).
Shu looks down in shame and acknowledges his mistakes, then looks up at Lain and invites him to come back to the Red Bulls. Lain is surprised by this statement and asks why would he do that if he's just gonna be criticized for seemingly everything he does. Shu says he cause Lain to gain flare so he wants to help it grow, albeit, in a healthy way. Lain's anger fades into more of a confused look and he's not sure what to do and just leaves. Before leaving BC Sol stadium completely he looks back at Shu and says that he'll consider it. Anyways after all that drama is over Rantaro and Valt go to comfort Hikaru and Hyuga goes to Lain telling him he finally understands (Shu made a speech about a ton of stuff to them but one of the things he talked about it how he messed up and was overly harsh on Lain. Lain thought he deserved the aggression cause he was weak, so he tried to be strong and used flare to due that. However of course Hyuga is a big idiot and didn't understand.) Hyuga wants Shu to help him train for a rematch but Shu says he can't do that, and Hyuga has to take matters into his own hands. Hyuga is confused as to why Shu isn't helping but figures if he just trains more Hyperion he'll get strong enough eventually.
