nah, aiga is stronger for multiple reasons.
1: Aiga's bey is better. Even if Lucifer's ability is op in the anime, it is still a defense type, one that can be easily outspun.
2: Aiga is smarter. Honestly, if aiga is even half as smart as he was in Cho-Z, he still would stand a chance against lane. Lane has 2 strategies. One is to immediately take the center and defend, and the other is to use Mobius to counter. Like phi's moves, both of these strategies are insanely powerful and almost unbeatable, and therein lies the problem. Both lane and phi rely on their moves and resonance power too much and are not open to other ways to be defeated. This is the reason why most balance types change their attack and defense patterns, because no bey is perfect, and balance types are prepared to stab at a bey's weak points.
3: Uncorrupted resonance. This power may not actually be a thing, but, from what I've seen, when resonance is corrupted and cleansed, the bond between blader and bey grows stronger. The immense power of dark resonance is kept, but the darkness itself is gone. This is why Shu was able to resist Phi, and why Aiga's hair turns to gold. Of course, this is speculation.

Uh, that was never defined really. Lean and Aiga haven't had a proper 1v1, but we do know Lean had steamrollered Lui, not to mention beat 4 people at once.

Speaking of which, I'm getting the feeling that Wakiya is the most likely candidate for the B-177 Defense Booster (that belongs to an "old rival"). Even though Gwyn and Phi are stronger, one thing I've noticed is that all of the Legendary Bladers who did get evolutions sport different clothes. Wakiya is the only one out of the remaining Legendary Bladers (outside of the main eight) who also wears different clothes, whilst Gwyn and Phi wear the same outfits as they did before. I know that sounds like a weak argument, but it's what I've noticed.

Yea wakiya got that little revamp.  Since his apparently the wwba chairman I guess a mini revamp comes with It lol. Leaving that aside as usual the Manga pacing and they way it's handle is above the amine and that's why you follow the creator original way .

Oh yeah, I always wondered why they gave Wakiya's design a small revamp but the others did not. Maybe he is slightly more important than the others? Maybe.

With the role they gave him in the manga as a chairman plus having his design updated, I feel like he will be the "old defense-type rival" Legendary Blader to receive an upgrade. I mean granted, the updated outfits do not always mean that they'll be the ones that will get it (I mean Delta wore the same clothes as he did in the previous series and we have two Diabolos' in Sparking) but he's highly likely if I'm honest.
