Holiday Havoc!

Hi everyone! This is the official thread for our December tournament being held at the Bethesda Marriott in Bethesda, MD on Saturday, December 15.

The Bethesda Marriott Hotel is located just west of the intersection of 495, 270, and 355 (Rockville Pike). Parking in the surrounding neighborhood is available for free on Pooks Hill Road, but space is limited and first come first served! Otherwise there is parking in the Marriott Lot for $15.

Location: The Bethesda Marriott Hotel: 5151 Pooks Hill Road, Bethesda, MD in the Norwood Room? Ask at the front desk as I'm not sure which room we are in now. http://www.marriott.com/hotels/maps/trav...-marriott/

Registration: 11:00am - Noon Seriously, show up on time please!
Start time: Noon-thirty-ish
End time: Usually 3pm for most, 4pm for the finalists
Format: TBD depending on number of bladers
Stadiums: BBG-04 Attack, BBG-11 Defense, and BBG-18 Balance (Alternating rounds)
Surface: Indoors with cardboard
Fees: $5 Room Fee + Standard WBO fees ($5 entry fee or free with a Blader Passport)
MFB Prizes: Zero-G beys and gear (TBD)

I tried not to! The Marriott is very expensive for me as the room fee does not cover what I have to pay for the room.

I am still hopeful that I will have a better location (for parking) in January!

Let make this clear

If your participating the tournament you pay the room fee + WBO fee.

If your not participating (Parents watching or siblings) they don't have to pay the fee.

I'm no where near a new yorker blader or Canadian blader that would play out in 40 degree or lower.

Be grateful that he got a indoor venue which is expensive....
