Anime North 09 @ The Renaissance Hotel
Golden Delicious Room

9 AM - Free Battle and Set Up
10 AM - "Beyblade 101" Workshop
11 AM - Free Battle and Registration for Beyblade War Room
12 PM - Beyblade War Room Tournament

The fire of BeyBattle still burns in the hearts of Bladers everywhere, and they'll all be coming to BEYBLADE WAR ROOM at ANIME NORTH 2009! If you haven't seen it yet, come visit us to learn all about METAL FIGHT BEYBLADE! We'll be hosting an overview and strategy of Beyblade presentation entitled BEYBLADE 101, and then we'll be taking registration for the BEYBLADE WAR ROOM tournament!

No Beyblade? No problem! We have loads of Metal Fight Beyblades with us and you'll be able to draft the parts to form a full Beyblade, then play and trade with other Bladers before the tournament to hone your skills!

So whether you're a veteran Blader looking for the next big competition, or someone new who is simply wondering how the heck a spinning top could be strategic and competitive, stop by! We'd love to see you there!

sure, send me the money to do it
I found out I have a valid passport, so I am more likely to be able to go to BWR next year.
Anything gonna go down in Toronto possibly in the North-West areas of the city?
We will be back at AN this year, but for now there is nothing else planned for Toronto.
x.x I'll be waiting x.x
So what's the plan with AN this year? Will there be a topic soon? There's a small chance (again) that I might be able to make it. My aunt wants to know what's going on early...

Khel originally contacted Ron (head of ANGaming) before new years about it, but nothing really came of it except the fact that Brad would not be organizing the tournament this year. Since Khel has stepped down, I've taken over responsibility for it, and contacted Ron a week ago now. Still no response, but I will get a thread going as soon as I get confirmation that we'll be able to host a tournament again.
Provided I know how to get to The Double Tree, I should be able to reach this year.

Anyways, alright. Good luck then.

Mhmm :\

I'll send him another e-mail to check if he got the original.
He just takes a while sometimes. Don't worry about it. He'll get back to you when he can.

He actually just got back to me, citing some important personal problems as the reason why he wasn't able to respond as quickly as he had done with Arjun. Definitely understandable.
Just know that if you guys need a hand with anything for this let me know. I may not be mod, but I'm happy to help. Want to see this come to fruition.
A few friends I know (some are cosplayers) are going to AnimeNorth this year, so I might go too. That would mean driving from Ottawa to Toronto though =P I would definitely join the tournament if I make it there =D
hmm....hmmm...hmmmm.....xP

If AnimeNorth works out this year I'd probably go as well Tongue_out
