BB-114 VariAres D:D Draft

Quote Wrote:Face: Ares

The Face on this Beyblade depicts Ares, the Greek God of War.

Metal Wheel: VariAres

- Weight: 43.6 Grams

VariAres is the second Metal Fight Beyblade Metal Wheel available with the gimmick of spinning in both directions: Left and Right. VariAres is a relatively thick and heavy wheel, with three outward protrusions, it produces massive recoil. It has a design with many wide edges, each creating small gaps to the next. There are six of these indents, after each edge, this creates massive recoil in Attack Mode. Between each edge, there are gaps that make powerful Smash Attack, as well as Spike Attack. VariAres is only one Metal Wheel including two parts, built in is a light PC Frame.

Unlike other 4D beyblades, VariAres PC Frame is built in conjunction with the Metal Wheel. The PC Frame allows VariAres to transform from Attack Mode to Defense Mode. Between each protrusion is a smaller, plastic protrusion in which they retract at high rotational velocity (Attack Mode) and emerge at low rotational velocity (Defense Mode).

Due to the recoil produced by these protrusions, though, it has low stamina. However, due to its relatively heavy weight, it makes for a potent Smash/Spike Attack wheel while maintaining a high rotational force, which usually happens at the start of battle, thus slowing down while going into Defense Mode. When VariAres is in Attack Mode, there is more Smash Attack because more metal is exposed. After VariAres has less rotational speed, Defense Mode will extend the PC Frame to reduce any recoil. When VariAres is spinning at high rotational speeds, the PC Frame retracts towards the centre of VariAres, therefore producing more Smash Attack. This, making VariAres switch into Attack Mode. When VariAres slows to a lower spin speed, the PC Frame extends out to it's full length, allowing for more Plastic contact in an attempt to reduce recoil. When that happens, VariAres is in Defense Mode.

Use in Attack Customizations
--------------------------------------

To an extent, much Stamina can be lost in Attack Mode suffered from VariAres indents. However, with heavy weight and recoil there is much of Smash Attack. VariAres recoil, from its three main inward protrusions, is providing consistent results against top-tier Defense customizations in the combos with Metal Faces MF-H VariAres BD145RF, MF-H VariAres CH120RF, and MF-H VariAres R145RF.

Bottom: Delta Drive

-Weight: 5.4 Grams

Delta Drive, or D:D, is one part that homes three bottoms. Delta Drive itself is round shaped, and translucent in black. It has the three tips: Wide Ball (WB), Sharp (S), and Flat (Flat). Each tip is on an axis, which can rotate a full 360°. Unlike other 4D Bottoms, there is only a manual change. It is the approximate height of 145WD.

Though this bottom is quite useful, it has bad balance compared to each bottom: S, WB, and F separately. Though Delta Drive’s bottoms are outclassed, it’s quite handy for three bottoms in one.

Use in Balance Combination
------------------------------------------------
With D:D having a good weight overall, and balance on heavier wheels, it is persistent in providing well results in the combination Basalt Kerbecs D:D

Overall

VariAres D:D is a very useful Beyblade for its Metal Wheel. While D:D is only self-sufficient, it is very useful for carrying three bottoms all in one and is very versatile in some Defense Combinations. VariAres has much recoil, that if used properly, can be used to take down top-tier Defense types efficiently. So, with prominent recoil and weight, it is a good purchase for every blader. Every blader should own at least one of this Beyblade.

Note: I do own this Beyblade and therefore I would appreciate people who own it, or have been keeping up with the VariAres discussion to help out! Help is appreciated!

Did this all on my own, combos from VariAres/me thread

Nice, nothing really needed to be added actually. Amazing job.
Hm, thanks.

I'm hoping Kei can put this up immediately because I've been working actually for a while now. I've found almost probably all spelling, grammar, or wording mistakes.
BTW, I will be taking pics.
Hm, as I told you in a reply to your private message, there is also a blue version, and both are CoroCoro exclusives which are extremely rare.
I need to know the name, I searched and couldn't find.

Let me see once more with different keywords.
It is called Blue Phantom ver. from the thread
I searched "blue" in the VariAres topic and I found it ... Furthermore, even without the name, you could have changed the "(WBBA Exclusive)", since that is false.
It is from CoroCoro, then?
Yes, as I have told you. Both versions are.
Thank You, Kai-V.

Not too important, but should I change 'G' to 'Grams'?
Look through the articles on bey-wiki , you should really search for this stuff.

Also this is just a suggestion , why not add Basalt Cancer D: D as a combo for D: D?
Able to produce recoil? It makes it sound like that is a benefit...
It actually is, somewhat...

Thanks Rusty for that.
How? A negative reaction is good?

I made a recoil draft that's a few threads down, probably be best if you read it.
I did read that, but it is best to also know that with MF-H and RF, you can keep recoil tamed and not fight against you. Surely, it is a bad thing, but if its producing results in given combinations it is not.
A little bit update on DGrin:-It homes (change to) It has
I think when he wrote 'homes' he meant to write 'hones'.
I'll look over tomorrow it's midnight here.

Whether it can be tamed or not, saying 'able to produce recoil' is misleading and incorrect, because in saying 'able' it makes it seem like a good thing, which recoil is not, even if it can be 'tamed'.
Able to produce recoil does sound wrong. It should be :-It produces recoil
I'd personally reword the metal wheel section.

I made a quick draft to help you out.
Quote:VariAres is the second (metal) wheel released with the ability to spin in both directions. It features three major protrusions, each of them divided into two wings facing opposite directions. Between each protusions is a built-in PC frame which retracts at high rotational velocity (Attack Mode) and emerge at low rotational velocity (Defense Mode).

Due to the large gaps between the protrusions in attack mode, VariAres suffers from a lot of recoil and therefore low stamina. However, due to its relatively heavy weight, it makes for a potent smash/spike attack wheel while maintaining a high rotational force, which usually happen at the start of match/battle.

Your call if you want to use it, though.

I think yes. Or, you may just change it to 'g'. As G means Gravitational Constant as far as I know. But as you said, not very important...
Ok Shabalbadoo.

Notch I will look over that.
Notco. Please notice there were two mistakes in your edit, one being multiPle PC Frames.
Technically, there's three parts working independently of the other.

Calling them all PC frame might no be entirely appropriate, but if you want to talk about mistakes:
Quote:VariAres is the second Wheel that can spin Both directions. VariAres is a thick and heavy wheel. With three outward protrusions, it produces massive recoil. It has a rough design with many wide edges, each creating small gaps to the next. VariAres is only one Metal Wheel including two parts, built in is a light PC Frame. The PC Frame allows VariAres to transform from Attack Mode to Defense Mode. When first shot, VariAres's PC Frame will push in, which will be locked into place with the structure of springs inside the mechanism Not only is this a bad sentence, the spring is actually used to push the frame back into Defense Mode. After, when VariAres has received much contact Not necessarily true, the PC Frame will push out, as it will be changing to Defense Mode. Due to the recoil produced by Attack Mode, though, it is a risky Beyblade to use. It has an excessive amount of recoil, which can lead into bad balance. But, it still has exceptionally well Attack capabilities, if the recoil can be tamed informal, in this case.
You should use Kerbecs on Basalt D:D. I only used Cancer since I didn't have a second Kerbecs. Otherwise, this is pretty good.
