QFT
What are some of the generic or common HMS combos (and their type) that people use often?

Are there any useful combinations that use dranzer s?

AR: Tiger Defenser
WD: 10 Balance
SG: Dranzer S
BB: Dranzer S

Beholder said this was a good, balanced combo that was suitable for beginners. For better results try putting Dranzer S shaft in Burning Kerberous's casings.

Can't be done, DzS shaft just falls off.

I've seen that thread, and it is very helpful, but for someone who is for the first time getting into HMS (like me), it would be helpful to see some actual combinations that are commonly used.

The first link I posted, Best parts for each type, has a few HMS combos there.
Anyways, here are some comon HMS combos:

AR: Circle Upper/Samurai Upper
WD: Circle Wide
RC: Grip Flat Core

Besides right spin upper, it has nice smash potencial in left (stick with Circle Upper for that though).

AR: Samurai Upper
WD: CWD Defense Ring
RC: Grip Flat Core UM

Pure heavy upper attacker. Weight also helps making the RC more controlable, while still being damn fast.

AR: Jiraiya Blade/Seagon Attacker
WD: Circle Wide
RC: Grip Flat Core/UM

Standard smash attacker. Circle Upper and Dragoon MF are nice for left spin smash as well (although the previous two can do it in either spin direction).

AR: Samurai Upper/Jiraiya Blade (it's usually fine since most attackers don't hit it in the AR zone)
WD: CWD God Ring/Reverse Defenser + 17g metal part
RC: Bearing Core 2

Best defensive combo from the HMS gen.

AR: Metal Ape
WD: Circle Heavy/(CWD Defense Ring can be used too, but it's not as comon)
RC: Metal Change Core

The best HMS compact combo.

AR: Metal Ape/Samurai Upper
RC: Rubber Weight Core

Best Bearing Core counter in same spin direction.

AR: Circle Upper/Advance Averazer/Adv Eterner (there're some variations)
WD: Circle Wide/Thunder Dragon CWD/Reverse Defenser (same here)
RC: Bearing Core/Bearing Core 2

Standard survival/spin stealing combo, most of the time using BC.

There're more comon combos, like variations of the first upper combos, using Metal Flat for gliding shot or making use of Metal Weight Grip Core, some using Adv Attacker AR for upper in both spin directions, etc.
Force Smash was like, never used, but I liked this combo for it:

AR: ADV Attacker (force smash mode)
WD: Circle Heavy
RC: Metal Sharp Core (can be used slightly worn if you want to trigger attack mode easier, like with Metal Change)

Dranzer S's base keeps it in place.
Thanks a lot King of Darkness. Smile I'm sure this will help me immensely.
Is the HMS string shooter any good and is it worth using over a normal HMS shooter?

Oh, that's right, thought you meant it in another base.
mamph Wrote:Is the HMS string shooter any good and is it worth using over a normal HMS shooter?

Depends, really. I happen to like it for certain situations, and if used properly, it can give you ridiculous rotational speed. However, you have to trim the string to a proper length for your arms so that you get maximum acceleration and don't lose any to drag or slack in the line. Also, it can piss off an opponent sometimes, as it takes so ridiculously long to reload when compared to the dual shooter.
Where can I find all the recolors of Driger S?
And is there any green colored Neo Right Casings that matches Draciel S green color?

You are trying to make an all-green Beyblade ...

At this point, the only place you're going to find recolors is very scattered all over the internet. You'll need a YJ Account, most likely.
Where can I buy Takara stadiums for a relatively cheap price (has to be able to ship to the UK cheaply or w/e)?
Also, what are some good attack/endurance combos?
I don't think you'll find Takara stadiums anywhere for a reasonable price other than YJA at this point.

Attack/Endurance is too broad. Go to the customizations forum, post your attempts, and your parts.
Does anyone remember the use of Spike Attack? I seem to have completely forgotten as to why it was useful.
If I have a loose AR on a SG, how can I make it more tight and less loose?
Mr. Toto Wrote:Does anyone remember the use of Spike Attack? I seem to have completely forgotten as to why it was useful.

I'm not exactly sure, but maybe it's to focus the hit on one of the spikes to attack? I think it was just similar to smash.

Quote:If I have a loose AR on a SG, how can I make it more tight and less loose?
You can use scraps from the Bey sticker sheets and put then in between the AR and SG. Nail polish can work too, but I find that it ends up think or bulky. I personally just apply a thin layer of cement glue (form the pen) and let that dry. It'll tighten[/quote] it and it's see through, but it's not as thick as the nail polish.
Mr. Toto Wrote:Does anyone remember the use of Spike Attack? I seem to have completely forgotten as to why it was useful.

The smaller the point of contact, the more weight is put behind the collision. The compact spikes press more force into a smaller point, causing a heavier hit.

MC Wrote:If I have a loose AR on a SG, how can I make it more tight and less loose?

Paint it or put a sticker around it.
Is it legal to switch the direction of the plastic CWD to another direction? For example, I switch Slash Riger's plastic piece around so it can "smash" in left spin.

If it works without any modification, yep.

YES. =)

Another question: Is the 5 Saint Beasts Booster like an RBA, in which it has random parts from multiple bey? Or is it a full, single bey (like opening up one of these and you get a full Proto Grey Driger MS or something)?

Good question! I imagine you get a whole Beyblade, but I never bought any.
