Hello everyone. After finally getting my B-09 stadium I wonder if it's more fun to play with or without the lid / cover.

When I tested some attack combos I realized that attack type beys would win much more often if the stadium cover is removed.

Its happens very often that a bey, that would be normally knocked out of the stadium is saved by the transparent plastic walls of the lid being pushed back into the centre. 

For example, if an attack bey wins 5 of 20 rounds vs a stamina bey due to knockout, after removing the cover it wins 10 out of 20 rounds.

So my question is: are there tournaments where the lid may be removed? Is it a decision of the organizer?

If not, why are attack types which have a hard life in the actual meta further weakened by such stadium constructions with anti knockout walls?

I think it’s just a wbo rule and I get why they did it because when you launch them the beys bounce and there will be too many people complaining about self ko’s

It's not the organizer's decision. In WBO tournaments, the lid must remain on. The point of having specific standard burst beystadiums is to have consistency across all tournaments.

Those anti-knockout walls are to prevent bladers from being injured by KOed or bursting beys. It's a matter of safety. Without that lid, you're going to get damaged beys, and damaged people.

That's why WBO has the back-wall-hit-after-bey-contact = KO rule. If those walls weren't there, it would have been a KO. That rule is currently under debate but for now it's still present.

Ah ok.  Thank You for the hint. I forgot that the wall-bounce-back-rule exists.

I looked it up: "Beyblades that bounce back into the stadium after exiting the play area are still considered knocked-out."

I assume that with "play area" the inner circle of the stadium is meant. Is this correct?

And: Does a player which beyblade leaves that inner circle lose immediately? What if a beyblade leaves that circle, bounces back and bursts the opponent beyblade? 2 points for the player whose beyblade bounced back or 1 point for the player who pushed the first bey towards the wall?

The rules say that if it exists the play area it is considered knocked out, so 1 point to the one that pushed the first Bey towards the wall.
