Chapter 6: The escort.
"The rebels fight against an evil organisation with psychics controlling one bey from each of the signs of the Zodiac. We have been looking for new recruits for a while, the others have dissapearred on field missions, there is only me and another member called Haze (Thats ha-zay)," Aquios explained to Atsune and Akio. "That would be me!!" a voice said.
Atsune and Akio looked up there was a boy standing on a pipe. Then the pipe rolled forward and the boy fell. "He may be a good agent, but he's a tad bit clumsy,"Aquios said. "Ur, yeah," Haze said awkwardly."We will escort you to the rebels HQ," Haze said.
They turned into an alleyway, south of town. "But this is a dead end,"Atsune said. "Yes but, but, but...err, I forget how to use this..." Haze said. "(Sigh)It's good I'm here," Aquios said, stepping forward. He pushed in a brick and a screen came up. "Blader login initialising,"the computer said in a metallic voice. Aquios flashed his beyblades over the computer screen. "Blader Aquios accepted,"the computer said. Ominously, a loud clunking sound echoed down the alley. The wall opened up and there was a large base inside. "That is incredible!"Akio said, amazed. They walked in.
There were loads of security cameras and surveillance footage on computer screens. One of the screens flashed red. "Ryutaro," Haze said grimly. "Is he one of the psychics you were talking about!?"Akio said while looking at the screens. "Yes," Aquios said,"and your first mission..."

"And I challenge you to a battle!" Seth said. "I accept," Akio said. He gulped. "But we do battle in the distortion realm!" Akio felt his feet numb. The feeling started from below and went up his body as it reached his neck. Akio screamed in pain. The pain was unbearable, like being stabbed. "Ha ha ha, this is the distortion realm!" Seth said maliciously. "Now," a beystadium shape opened up in the ground, "we battle."
They put their beys on their launcher. "Three, two, one, let it riiiiiiip!"they both called. "So you have a Thermal Pisces," Akio spluttered. "Yes and I will use it to deystroy you!" Seth said, "Go, Pisces!"
"He's scared," Aquios said gravely. "Yes, very," Atsune replied. "Lets use the teleporter to go to that dimension," Haze said "It'll be wierd!" "We probably sent him on a mission too early," Aquios said. They stepped into a teleporter and they pressed a button. "How did you get this tech'?"Atsune asked Haze. "By mistake," Haze said. "Figures," Atsune said.
Pisces attacked bull over and over."Ha ha ha, do more and more damage Pisces!!" Seth exclaimed. "Err...err...err..." Akio couldn't do anything, he was petrified. Out of the blue, a machine appeared. Three people walked out of it. It was Atsune, Aquios and Haze! "You can do it!" Atsune cheered. "Yeah!" Haze and Aquios cheered aswell. "OK, now you are going down," Akio said. He had found new courage. "Burning Bull Counter Thrust!"Akio called out bravely. "What!? Thats impossible!" Seth said. Pisces flew back. Bull went back and into the air. "Special move, Burning Solar Stomp"Akio called. Pisces was hit hard and flew out of the stadium. "Thats the move he learned against me!" Aquios said. "Yessss!" Akio said out aloud....

Akio's eyes started to blur again. He collapsed on the ground. "Akiooo!" The team shouted, worried. Ryutaro also fell on the ground, dazed.
Chapter 9: Akio's other soul.
"Akio, Akio," a voice said from nowhere. Akio looked up, he wasn't in the distortion realm, but not in town. "Akio," the voice said again. His eyesight cleared up and before him stood a young girl. She was about five and had black hair, the same length as himself. "Akio, are you Ok?" she asked.
"Um yeah," Akio said. He looked around confused.
" I'm Chika," she said with a smile. "Come with me," she said and grabbed Akio's hand.
"I don't need you to hold my hand," Akio said.
"Yeah well I don't care," Chika said.
"Where are we?" Akio asked as he was being dragged along.
"We are in your dream world," Chika said.
"How do you know my name?" Akio said.
"I will tell you when we get to where we are going," she said.
"Where are we going?" Akio asked.
"Man, don't you ask a lot of questions," she said, "it doesn't matter we're here."
"It looks like a blank TV screen," Akio said.
"Just look," Chika said.
People stood in front of three graves. One of them said Chika Asuhuro.
"Wait, is that you!" Akio said in surprise.
"Yes, 7 years ago I died in an attack by the psychics, but I didn't really die. My soul was supposed to go into the power of Seth, but you Akio, my childhood friend, my soul went into you. I am your second half," Chika explained to Akio.
"Yes...my childhood friend, I remember now, Chika, we used to play together," Akio said nostalgically.
"Good, now I can transform," Chika said.
A bright light emanated from Chika. Akio closed his eyes. When he looked back Chika was a twelve-year-old, just like him.
"I will help you on your journey to battle Seth," Chika said, "and to free everyone who Seth is controlling."
"I will defeat Seth," Akio said bravely, "for you and everyone."
Ryutaro and Atsune watched over Akio. Ryutaro had woken up, back as normal. "Haze, we want you to go on patrol," Aquios said.

Akio walked alongside Chika. She looked a lot different from her five year-old form. She had long purple hair and a white belly top. She also wore blue, bootleg style jeans. A pair of sunglasses adorned her head.

"So, Akio, I was wondering if we could battle, you know, for old times," Chika said. "Sure!" Akio said, "wait, what bey do you have?" "I have Midnight Beafowl AD145 SF," Chika said. "Can I see it?" Akio asked. "Yep!" Chika gleamed. She may have been older, but her smile hadn't changed. Akio looked at the bey. The clear wheel was a pink-purple colour. The track and tip were a darker colour of the clear wheel. "Nice, now lets battle!"
Haze walked the streets. Someone jumped in front of him. "My name is Tenji and I challenge you, Haze, to a battle," Tenji said. "Y'whaat!?" Haze said while he grasped for his launcher grip and bey. "This'll be so fun!!" Tenji said. "Are you a psychic?" Haze asked. "Depends, are you a Rebel?" Tenji asked. "Yes for your information!" Haze shouted. "Then, yes, I am," Tenji said.
From each battle the competitors chanted their words. "Three, two, one, let it riiiip!" the four said. Amazingly Chika's sunglasses were a launcher grip.
In Haze's battle his bey, Vulcan Virgo 85 CS, sped into the centre and stopped, perfectly balanced. Tenji's bey, Cyber Libra BT125 ES did so also. The two beys clashed in the centre. Neither pulled away. Suddenly Vulcan Virgo sped round the edge, faster than Atsune's Capricorn. Virgo attacked Libra and Libra flew to the edge and it's tip hit the edge. Libra curled round the very edge of the stadium and back to the centre. "Wow, that was really cool!" Tenji said, "but my Libra has the Eternal Sharp tip, it cant be thrown off balance." "What!" Haze said, worried, "it doesn't matter, my virgo's power will throw it upside down!!" Then he threw a series of attacks...
Akio's and Chika's bey spun into the centre. They attacked eachother and they both got pushed back. They both went in for a second attack and Beafowl did more damage. "The Midnight wheel has a bit of all types, Stamina, Defense and Attack," Chika said. "Wow, you're so strong Chika," Akio complimented Chika, "and you have a new bey. I used to have Infinity Saggitario 145 WB and you used to have Killer Gemios T125 SD." Akio and Chika enjoyed them being friends again...
Also, Chika, means 'near and dear' ironicly.
