Date: Saturday, May 25, 2013
Time: 10am - Registration will be open from 10am - 10:30am
Format: Zero-G Format, Round Robin
Fees: $5 entry. Free for Passport holders

$1 snack tickets available for one drink and snack of choice (while supplies last).

If you are under 16, it is mandatory for a parent to stay with you at this event!

Our first tournament was an overwealming success, so let's do it again...in Zero-G!

Just like last time, we'll have plenty of open play to accompany the tournament. If there's time after the tournament, we'll also give a team tournament a shot. Nothing WBO official, but Leone19 suggested we give this a shot for fun.

I'll post updates here when they're available.

Also, don't forget to add yourself to the BeyMap! CT needs representation!

Yeah. The tournament ran from about, 2ish-4ish last time? We've got the same amount it seems like, so we should be able to have some time for it!

Hey theo! I'm pretty sure you can confirm at any time, as long as the tourney isn't actually going on. Tongue_out I heard that you guys had a hugely successful tourney last time. Good luck! Smile
Yup, that's right. Just show up before the registration time ends on the day of the tournament and you're good to go!
OK thanks Noah and rkalajian
I was just down at the hall this afternoon. It's awesome! Lots of space for blading, and lots of tables and chairs for parents to relax at while enjoying the tournament.
Question: Is this still a round-robin format?
Yup, unless we get more than 24 people.

We'll make sure it's done proper this time. Doc is helping out with that part Smile
OK! Tomorrow's the big day! Parking is around the back of the lodge, and you'll come in through the back door, which I'll have unlocked. I'll be there around 9:45am to setup, and we'll have free play running until around 10:30 when registration ends.

We should have 2 Zero-G stadiums, so we'll be able to have more people competing at once. doc8466 will be helping me run the event, so hopefully we'll have a much smoother go this time around!

Again, I'll have extra launchers for those who need them, and I'll bring a few extra stadiums for free play.

See everyone tomorrow! Get those Beys ready!
Can't wait!

With two stadiums going at once we'll be able to do a full Round Robin letting everyone play the best 3 out of 5 against every other player there, if there are 11 or less players, or against every other player in their pool if there are 12 or more.
Looking forward to it! I'll be there a little after 10, so I can try out the stadium for the first time before the tournament starts.
Wow...I didn't actually think of that...that some people might be using the Zero-G stadium for the first time!

It's SOOOOOO different. The added dimention to strategy is awesome!
Agreed. I've had to change my Beys a bit to get better performance in the Zero-G stadium Smile

My kids have been working on their new combinations all week!
Will Synchrom Beys rule supreme?

Will attackers run themselves right out the stadium?

How will pre-Zero-G Beys fair against Zero-G Beys?

Will any Bey stay stable enough with the stadium rock'n and roll'n to out spin their opponent?

Check back tomorrow for the results!
Update: Holy carp.
The Zero G stadium I ordered this past weekend just arrived. I have yet to try it out, but thank god...it came just in time. Pretty confident on my combinations nonetheless.
We'll be selling snack tickets tomorrow for $1. That'll get you a snack and a drink while supplies last. No word on what the snacks and drinks will be yet. My wife is snagging them Smile

Awesome. I'm not too confident in my own combinations, but that's OK. I just want to run a good tournament, and I wouldn't take a prize even if I did win Smile
Cool, I'll bring an extra dollar just in case Smile I agree. It's not so much whether I win or lose, I just want to participate in as many tournaments as possible before I move this summer. You started organizing them just in time lol
I'm really excited. I have my beys all set to kick some metal dreidel butt.
my friend will be coming, and has yet to make an account, so he'll probably do it there.
This is Leone19's friend. I'll be going to the tournament with him!
Awesome! We'll see you there!
princessjoy is now Joyce, and Mrs.doc8466 will be playing this time as well.
BullChamp And I will be there at about 9:30.
I will be a little late
Good luck to all today!
