UPDATE: If you are under 16, it is mandatory for a parent to stay with you at this event!

Come be a part of the first-ever Connecticut WBO tournament! We're playing standard format, but will have non-tournament play with various stadiums, including a Destroyer Dome.

Feel welcome to bring Plastics and HMS to play in non-tournament battles!

This is an outdoor event, so dress appropriately for the weather. Rain or shine, we've got a nice dry place to play. Bring your own refreshments, as there's no concessions in the park (though there's plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, etc... across the road)

Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. I will also have something cool for every confirmed individual who shows up.

Prizes
1st place - Choice of 3 Beys, first pick
2nd place - Choice of 2 Beys, second pick
3rd place - 1 Bey

Beys - All Hasbro
Spark FX Duo Ice-Titan
Spark FX L-Drago Guardian
Spark FX Proto Nemesis
Spark FX Wing Pegasus
Divine Crown
Spiral Lyre

1. During Registration, Open Your Account Page

Open your account page on your mobile device (if possible) during registration to help us keep things quick.

2. Arrive On Time

You must arrive by the tournament start time to enter. We cannot add new players to an event once it begins. If you're running late, contact the host.

We do everything possible to ensure a safe environment, but can't be held responsible for lost or stolen goods. Keep your gear close by!

4. The Tournament Will Last At Least a Few Hours

This event is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!

5. Listen For Your Username To Be Called

Your name will be called when it's time for your next battle. If you need to leave early or take a break, tell a judge. Missing a match could mean disqualification!

9. Terms of Service

All event attendees and users of this website are subject to our Terms of Service.

I am entering too (also coming with MassBeyBladers).
Just want to make sure-- you said there will be spare ll-2's? Only because I don't have any good launchers
Yup! I'll have a bag of launchers, including some LL2's
Tis is really exciting seeing all of the different age groups competing. I can't wait to go tomorrow! And Rkalajian what time are you going to get there, I planned on going pretty early? (time to find the location, etc.)
I should be there around 12:30 to setup
My 7-yerar-old will be there. This is his user name.

Thank you!
I wish you guys an awesome time, and I really hope it will unfold many more Beyblading opportunities for the future.
What's the estimate for number of participants? (I count as 3)
We're looking at 14+ right now
Nice. I'm excited for all of the different age groups competing. I wish everyone a good time, and luck. I'll see all of you there in a few hours!
I heard there was around 25 participants for this tournament! You guys should hold more tournaments more often!
Congratulations to all the winners, who was 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th?
TheBalrog got first, Dr. Leo got second, SupremeOne came in third, and I got Fourth. It was a really fun day, and I can't wait for the next one. I really hope there will be more in the area, it was a great and fun experience. Here's to you RKalajian!!!!

Edit: if anyone has the group pic/ any videos, it'd be awesome if you could post/send it to me!!!!!
Great first tournament for CT! I'm not sure about 25, but there were definitely a lot lol
Can't wait for the next one!!

It looked like 20. I think maybe a bit more? (counting the ones just using the side games)
We had 19 participants. We had a little snafu with the bracketing, but we fixed it and everyone had a fair and most excellent tournament!

I'm glad everyone had a great time. Everyone did a GREAT job. I look forward to hosting more tournaments in the future. Overall today was a big success!

Very good sum-up of the event! I'm happy everything worked out, and I honestly didn't expect to place fourth with ONLY hasbro beys! Hope to attend some more in the future! Btw, when will the Beypoints be updated?
it was so so funJoyful_2Joyful_2Joyful_2 and the 1 time i came in 2nd
Does anyone have any footage or the group pic? If so, please post it! Also, when will the Beypoints be updated??
Also also, a message from the BeyBlazers co-captain, the SupremeOne:
"If anyone from the tournament today (CT, RI, or MA) wants to apply for the team, that would be awesome. We definitely need more members, & as we saw today, there are a lot of CT bladers out there"

I'm interested in the group pic too, as I didn't have much time to take pics myself. As for Beypoints, I'm submitting the results to the WBO tonight. I know they haven't started reprocesses points yet, but hopefully they will soon!

I'm shooting to have the next tournament at Connecticon in July. I need their approval first before I approach the WBO about it.

That sounds cool! But for connecticon, I recommend doing it on Sunday, so people won't need to pay so much to get in! (its really expensive Friday andmsaturday, it's only about 25 on Sunday)
Great job, rkalajian! I'm happy that this seems to have been a huge success. Smile

Why wait until July? You should at least try to get something organized for BeyDays 2013, on May 25th.

That'd be an awesome idea. It'd be a big hit, judging how this first one turned out!!!
I may just do that Smile

BTW - To everyone who attended who wanted to know. Here's the results I just sent off to the WBO:

Grin I hope I get some points! (Considering I came pretty close in the end of it)

I'm really excited for another CT tournament- and if it was during BeyDays- it'd make it all of the better!!!!!
If we do have a tournament on the 25th, i'll definitely go as long as it doesn't interfere with finals. & the participation in CT tournaments can only increase from here.
