I think it's more of an SW145 situation. All that you need to do is adjust the frame's deign slightly to acomodate both sides being attatchable and add a set of tabs underneath to let it attatch and it should work...

That's a good point. I think an Elevator gimmick for a disk would look a bit weird anyway haha. I'm excited to see it. A cool gimmick for that flip idea would be to take Flow, and switch sides for different forces. As ineffective as it is, it would be cool.

I think that "UP and DOWN" description you meantion might be the R Frame's gimmick? I saw a tweet from the person who posted all these pictures on Twitter saying something to that effect, but Google Translate is a bit dodgy...

That would be pretty interesting as well, a frame that possibly has a mode change? Or maybe it's the Reverse frame, so you can attach it to a forge disc in either direction. Kind of like that part from MFB that you could take off an switch it upside down

This is a huuuuuuuge stretch and pure speculation since the Zet Achellius owner and Valt look alike I think that this season will take place in alternate realities in which every day Valt switches between two realities and personalities and chozetsu means transcendence and I mean that might tie this all together

I was predicting this, but now that it's here idk how to feel. on one hand, its a cool idea that has been around since dual layer. And on the other hand, it might mess up the entire metagame. Burst is already a fast pace game compared to metal fight, but will the metal in the layers make them burst faster/go unbalanced faster? or will it give them more stamina? I'm reluctantly excited for this next system, and I can only hope previous layers will still be viable. im always down for new and cool drivers/ discs, but the metal layers got me a bit worried.

i hear that, and of course we will just have to wait and see.  i guess it just comes down to the teeth, really.  with all that metal these beys are going to need some serious teeth to avoid the nL burst festival...  but who knows, perhaps more bursting is a balancing force for super z beys?  either way, i hope the power creep is kept under control.

They all look awesome. I like emperor forneus the best (kinda looks like unicrest from one of the earlier picture angles) this new gen looks awesome and i love them all. If they make another rare get bey I truly wonder what it would be.

Lots of speculation going on. While I don't think it hurts too much to speculate, I think some of you need to scale down your speculation a little, haha.

• New Longinus doesn't have a name yet. The use of "Shin" is just because it's new. Wait for a name for it.
  
• Valt does indeed have a new outfit, but let's not make assumptions about him being a referee. He's definitely not dressed for that...
  
• Official series subtitle from the packaging is "Cho Z", so it's safe to use Super Z as a title now.
  
• And let's not confuse each other on whether Shu has quit. Nobody knows that, just keep an eye on the anime/manga yourself, haha.

I'm less worried about how often they'll burst than I am about what damage they'll do to the existing lineup of tops. If the Layers in this series are pure metal as opposed to metal centers with plastic contact points, there's serious potential for breakage when using it to battle against the previous layers. One hit from a jagged metal edge on an attack Layer from this system and all of your previous Layers are shattered.

I totally agree with You. I feel like these new beys will really literally destroy basic and dual layer beys. I think I might need to retire my collection and only fight dual layer beys against there own kind and only fight super z beys against there kind
.. otherwise... I think that I will have a lot of destroyed plastic pieces....

BUT I have to say... that is kind of is what Beyblade is about... I know you personally don't want something you paid for to get destroyed but in the anime.. that would be the best and coolest thing you could do to another person' bey to show how strong you are.

Either way... I like what is coming and can't wait to get my hands on some.

W-V doesn't have a frame, the combo is W-V.12.Vl. it'll be interesting to see what it'll be when we see the layer though

But the product name literally has Cho Z in it. It's the "Beyblade Cho Z Battle Set". Yes, the kana reads "Chouzetsu", but that's not what they want you to read in English.

So no. It's Cho Z, or Super Z as we'll be calling it as a fan-friendly translation.
