TOURNAMENT REFERAL CONTEST!
In an effort to make this as big as possible, I'm instating a tournament referal contest. The person to get the most referrals for NEW WBO members at the date of the tournament will recieve a FREE Flame Byxis 230WD OR Quetzalcoatl 90WF - your choice! - at the start of the tournament. I will keep a tally of how many new sign-ups and at the end of tournament registration, I will announce the winner. Keep 'em coming!

Hey, guys and gals! It's going to be my 21st birthday in two weeks and I wanted to celebrate it by doing what I love most. This is an open invitation indoor tournament with a $5 entry fee additional to the WBO fees. The winner of the tournament will recieve a gift certificate to the store in the amount collected. Also, there's pocky for sale.

SO IN OTHER WORDS:
Entry + purchase of a passport = $15 fee
Entry + one time WBO tournament fee = $10
Entry + existing passport = $5

You pay $5 on top of the WBO's fee. Passports are one year unlimited admissions to any WBO event around the world. They cost $10 for the entire year. If you do not plan on attending more events, you may pay the WBO $5 for this one time. On top of what you pay the WBO, you have to pay $5 to the store for the use of their space, however, that $5 per person is counted as store credit, which the total amount will be given to the first place winner.

Time: Noon
Date: January 23rd, 2011
Place: Kings Games in Brooklyn, NY
(directions are available on their website)
Format: Block Round Robin

If the store manager sees that the attendence is high, we can discuss future organized game play as a regular venue. The store has been nominated for best organized gameplay and they are looking to collect video of this tournament to be featured if they win the award. So...

Let's make this big so we can have a Beyhangout!

It would be amazing if you came and yes, bring as many friends as you can.
Even though it's a few days away waiting for this tournament is starting to make me crazy with beyblades, i need to do something other than wait and practice.
AHH i can t come. my sister said its stupid and a ''waste'' of my time. I wish the best of luck to Sky Prince for the judging. OH! can somebody take a video of the tourneys semi finals and finals? cuz i could watch it on youtube.

Sorry you can't come dude but i'm pretty sure we'll all put it on youtube.
I could bring 15 people in my class to blade...Even though they haven't beaten me once!
I just need to ask them. That would make the winner's prize...$235 in store credit! i really need to convince them to come.

Tell them there are hard to find Beyblades as prizes.

Just remember, we're probably going to get more as the week goes on so the prize will increase. It could go to 60+ people, in which case, the prize would be $300. This is perfect for anyone who likes Yu-gi-oh, too.
lol. don't worry dude. i'm gonna record the finals. =) ... well, if i'm in it, i'll have someone record it for me. =)

It will be available to watch live. (most likely)
Wow, you've really put a lot of effort into this. Good luck, I hope everything goes okay.
Thanks! I really appreciate the recognition! Smile

which reminds me, i'm gonna be selling this pic in this video: http://youtu.be/QjPMU2OlpWI?hd=1 at the tourney for $5. =)

ohhhhh... I wonder if they sell the old beyblade cards...
If there is enough hype for Beyblade, the owner and I have discussed ordering Beyblades for store stock. Of course, he'll only do this if it will generate enough profit for the store. He has to make some money to stay in business obviously lol.

They don't, but I think I still have mine. If I find them, I'll give them to you.

Gasp I was just wondering you don't have to give me yours!Tongue_out_wink
I never use my Beyblade TCG cards anyway. They are worthless to me so if you find something interesting about them, take 'em.

I f you could draw sora with cyber pegasus doing ov drive i will give you $5 for it at the tournament. Your drawing skills are amazing. I assume it's the same with your beyblade skills.
Oh, Cyber Red, when you bring those people at the tournament, make sure you let them know that at registration, they should tell me that you referred them. When you refer a certain amount of people, you get a special face.

alright, let's hope they don't "forget". They are very careless people.

Tell them they get some sort of prize if they are a referred member. It's not true of course, but they won't figure that part out until after they've said your name. That's what my friends do when they promote clubs; they tell their friends it's reduced admission if they say their name at the door, but really, they get charged the same amount.
Do you need to sign up somewhere to go to the tournament?

No, just post here saying that your parents said it's okay for you to go and you have a way to get here and I'll add you to the list.
