TOURNAMENT REFERAL CONTEST!
In an effort to make this as big as possible, I'm instating a tournament referal contest. The person to get the most referrals for NEW WBO members at the date of the tournament will recieve a FREE Flame Byxis 230WD OR Quetzalcoatl 90WF - your choice! - at the start of the tournament. I will keep a tally of how many new sign-ups and at the end of tournament registration, I will announce the winner. Keep 'em coming!

Hey, guys and gals! It's going to be my 21st birthday in two weeks and I wanted to celebrate it by doing what I love most. This is an open invitation indoor tournament with a $5 entry fee additional to the WBO fees. The winner of the tournament will recieve a gift certificate to the store in the amount collected. Also, there's pocky for sale.

SO IN OTHER WORDS:
Entry + purchase of a passport = $15 fee
Entry + one time WBO tournament fee = $10
Entry + existing passport = $5

You pay $5 on top of the WBO's fee. Passports are one year unlimited admissions to any WBO event around the world. They cost $10 for the entire year. If you do not plan on attending more events, you may pay the WBO $5 for this one time. On top of what you pay the WBO, you have to pay $5 to the store for the use of their space, however, that $5 per person is counted as store credit, which the total amount will be given to the first place winner.

Time: Noon
Date: January 23rd, 2011
Place: Kings Games in Brooklyn, NY
(directions are available on their website)
Format: Block Round Robin

If the store manager sees that the attendence is high, we can discuss future organized game play as a regular venue. The store has been nominated for best organized gameplay and they are looking to collect video of this tournament to be featured if they win the award. So...

Let's make this big so we can have a Beyhangout!

In 2 days we got 33 people... i wouldn't be surprised if there's 70 people there...That would be AWESOME How long do you expect the tournament to be?
lol. maaaannnn 2nd floor is gonna be cramped with people... let's just hope we don't get shoved into a compact room. o.O
I have no idea. It won't go past dark, that's for sure.

I'm going to bomb the Yu-gi-oh tournament the day before with our flyer for the tournament. There are like, 100 people at the tournament on saturday so Ima be like "go to Beyblade tomorrow or else!"

DJ 2002 - Shock! That's a lot XD (in my opinion ^>^) Going to be a lot of pocky missing when THIS is over XD

To stay on topic Joyful_2: Is there a chance we can get full list of the prizes/what # of tokens you need to get them?

Love the live feed idea DJ - Yeah!
Why don't you guys ever listen to my posts? I've posted this like, five times in the WBO.

I have to determine that the day of the tournament. To get something like a reshuffle set, you'd conceivably need to win the tournament twice to win enough tokens for it.

There will also be a raffle for more tokens.
Wow so many people means a great way for to test our skils and to push our blades to there limit!!!

Yeah, especially since I'm organizing the brackets to be challenging.
you know what would be a great idea if we had a beyblade maintenance station there that will be cool so after our blades have been through many tough battles and have like dirt and stuff clogged in their parts someone could clean them up to be in tip-top shape that is a good idea

It's called a cloth and windex.
YAY!!!! =D btw, guys, i'm gonna be selling a Ginga picture drawn by me for $5 at the tourney. =) haha, it's least likely that someone will buy it but its worth a try. i only have one of it. I'm posting a video of me drawing it. it'll be up by tonight. =)
@ Deikailo Yeah it's a big challenge especially scince the numbers keep increasing.
Zack, no offense. But when I hear something say "Test out skills, push them to their limit" I think of a 10 year old kid, watching the show with his *insert beyblade* and screaming "Fighting spirit!", I'm not saying thats you. It was just the first thought that popped into my head lol.

Deikailo, at about what time do you think the tourny will start. I know it says 12, but I don't assume you mean exactly 12. Is there like a 10-20 minute gap after 12 for when the tournament starts.

I have no idea because that 33 is just a MINIMUM amount of people attending.
@ Zeox Yeah i geuss my brothers are starting to rub off on me, but stop mocking me.

Yo Silverblader is epic for deciding to not enter the tourny, but to clean our beys.

Three cheers for Silver!

I don't do maybes.

You can't use the pre-HWS wheel.

I recommend familiarizing yourself with the rules to create less confusion.
Might come, I live in MD so it might be a problem for me. Also, if I do come, would it be alright if I brung a couple friends?
