Solved my first ever Rubik's Cube today!

Just got back from a 6 hour drive to Richmond, VA. I am SO TIRED.

I literally spent 45 minutes trying to find a quiet place to work on campus. The one time where it would be nice to have the emptiness of a commuter school, it has to be busy.

Old physics papers have such a bad mark scheme. I presume it's due to them expecting physics teachers to mark it who already know what they're doing roughly but really...

Also pretty chuffed that I remembered the definitions for watts, work done, and power without ever revising them in my life.

You know you visit Starbucks too much when they automatically know what you're going to order before you've even gotten in to the que, and put a Venti cup to one side for you as you walk through the door...
On the upside, they've been giving me free extra shots of late.

My brother went on Duke of edinbrugh camping last weekend.

DofE is a little different to your standard camping, seeing as you have to walk everywhere, with all provisions, and navigate (which is so fun) and put up and take down tents every day (not so fun, especially if it rained the night before). Well, many people would do that as a holiday, but from my holiday experiences of camping, you drive to the place, set up the tent and leave it there for the week or so. But yeah, I've been camping a fair few times. When it rain's it sucks unless you're indoors. When it's sunny it's sucks to be indoors but can be pretty nice outdoors. Just hate the bugs...

being as you do not have a clear understanding of what constitutes an animal and what does not, i suppose wildlife seems very confusing and disorienting to you

The house I was talking about was about 3 doors down - cos my house is connected to 3 other houses, but the yelling from there was so clear (cos it was at night).

Turned out it was a gun shot luckily the shot missed and ended up in the owners kitchen wall - thats what the cops said to the neighbours who went knocking on everyones doors to make sure we werent kept guessing and thinking we might get caught up in the crossfire or arguement either one. The couple were fighting and now the guy who had the gun is in prison and the girl (who i was friends with) is scared and going to live back with her mum. And thats all Im gonna say.

On another note last night i fell out of my bed and I ended up waking my mum up cos of the thump my head made on the floor and now im feeling it right now and most of my right side is hurting like hell so I get a day off TAFE which i really didn't want to do. :\
