Did anyone have Slizers, the original Bionicles? Few people seem to remember them actually existing.

My cousin met Stereos the other week, I asked her if the lead singer really sounds like Soundwave without a pesonality. She didn't know who Soundwave was.
I had like, the first ones and a few of the later ones but then they became stale.
personally I thought the whole bionicle/technique/mindstorm side of lego was stale

lego should just be lego
I loved the Slizers. My favourite one was the green car.

I had a full set of 6 of all of the Bionicles up until the series which had the disk-firing leader.

Wasn't a big fan of how they kept pushing "shooting" gimmicks.
My brothers reeeeaaaallly big on Bionicle. Literally, it's all over the house. =_=
LEGO really hurts when you step on it, you should get him to tidy it up.
Aha, once you step on it enough, you build up an immunity or sorts.....and learn how to make the pain as little as possible.
Thats why im so used to it happening Tongue_out
Yeah well i've just sneezed and I somehow threw up on my bedroom floor at the same time without feeling it Speechless

O man, now you have one. O well, I will wait and see if I get one after 2000 posts since I know my first 1000 weren't that great and I am sorry for that, the only way to go is up. Smile

All expenses paid? That sounds lovely! I wish I was at your place, Brad! A free trip to Québec...man, you're lucky!
well i sort of had to work hard to get to this point haha
Look at Brad, soon to be on top of the spinning top world. (PUNS INTENDED, HECK YEAH)
Wow, Brad. That's pretty awesome. Can't to here everything after you go.

Also, we only have 100 members to go until we are at 2000. I believe we had 100 less a week or two ago, too. This 1000 sure went alot faster than the first 1000....alot faster.

Bionicles are awesome. I used to be really big on them for a few years when I was younger; my collection is actually quite substantial. Aside from the Bionicles themselves, I must have upwards of 50 issues of the comic, starting from issue 1 in June 2001. To this day, I still buy one or two every couple years, just because the designs are so good.
