JEEZ! So many damn moth's in my bedroom. Just chucked out 5 of them. 2 large yellow ones and 3 regualr brown ones. Where are they all coming from. I need my windows open because it so damn hot but the critters always come in.

About this, I heard something from an uncle of mine that said spraying your windowsill with watered down listerene is supposed to repel pests. I figure it's worth a try, i know for a fact it works well with mosquitoes...

Flour makes ants explode...it might work with moths. Probably wont but better than nothing, I guess

Try a screen. wire-mesh or something.

Man i hate the idea of killing things for fun that's pretty messed up. The only exclusion is Spiders, which i can't stand can't trust them aswell you can die from the things down here.

So I've posted here before about how much of an carp my Dad is. Well, we got into it again last night for some really stupid carp that I don't really feel like going into right now. Basically it was a culmination of all the stupid carp he's put me through over the past year or so, and I just couldn't put up with it anymore so I decided to pack my things and leave. Permanently.

I've been staying the night at my grandmother's house (which I have my own key to just for an occasion like this) the past two nights. I've talked to my Mom in person since then and I told her what was going on, that I was moving in here for the foreseeable future and she told me that she doesn't blame me at all, that if her father treated her the way that mine treats me she would've taken off years ago.

So yeah... I don't have an internet connection here and I've been using my phone for messenger/tethering on my PC to post quick updates here. I don't want to post my phone number here or anything, but those of you who might want it that don't already have it know who to ask.

That's it I guess, just wanted to let everyone know what's going on.

Also, sorry about the news. I wish you luck in the future.

This, my bro did/does it because he had a lot of spiders coming through his window and it stopped them so it should be the same for Moths.

Lol, I dont kill ants for fun, it is just a cheaper way of getting rid of the ants in my kitchen . I dont know why they have been so persistent though...its like they are one steroids...

And it does get rid of them (most of the time) because they take it back to their nest so they all eat it and explode..

Poor things :\ I have been bitten several times and we have lost a lot of food to them too. So, I can sit back and let them eat it all, or I can kill them. How do you recommend I get rid of them without killing them?

Oh my god kids I forgot how much energy they have and now I understand why parents find meal times so stressful. So basicly my mother is painting the bathroom and both of my nephews and my neece is around since their parents are at the cemetary. So far they've argued over colouring pens and books, what seat they get to go on the swings and my neece barley touched her food. I know this is what kids are like but they've been like this since they got here and man watching 3 kids is no easy task.

I asked my mother to stop painting and help me look after them. While they were outside playing on the swing my nephew daniel is trying to push my neece of the swing so he can have a turn and when I take him over to go in the play house my neece is shouting to me to push her on the swing. Only problem is daniel never looks were he is going when he runs so I have to watch him like a hawk. So my neece casey and nephew sean are constantly shouting at me to push them on the swings but I can't ask for my mam to come outside and help because she is making the kids tea.

So i'm running all over the garden pushing the kids on swing while daniel is tripping over every 2 seconds, then I have to run over and pick daniel up then dust him off. Eventually the tea was done so I thought I caught a lucky break and a chance to sit down but yeah the universe never sides with me . . . when they were eating casey is alway asking for a drink despite the fact she just had one before she sat down to eat. Thankfully tea went down without to much fuss but casey only eaten some of her food.

Their parents only just come around to take them home and now im just wiped out all I want to do is sit down put my feet up watch some tv or better yet just go to bed and sleep until I turn 30. Now all thats left to do is clean up the toys

I think they may just need some discipline. =_= I mean I know kids are a handful but if you're having that much trouble.....I mean like shoving each other of swings should not be tolerated.

Agreed, these days parents are a less strict in fears of hitting their children, but to be honest when all else fails that's the thing to do, I know it's worked for me and I've turned out fine.
