He probably has a connecting flight so he has to wait a couple hours in between for his next flight.

It actually takes about 4-5 hours. The thing is though, Brad lives on an island off the coast of the mainland. As such, he has to get off the island onto another island, and then onto the mainland, (and then potential connecting flights?) and then he can proceed from there.

Damn, that sounds like a pain.

You're right I did the math again, and last time I went to Vancouver it only took 5.5 hours.

My worst flight had to be about 18 hours direct to India once. I sat beside a new mom who had her baby with her. Never again, now I always go with a stopover.

There was a family emergency when that happened so we were lucky to get seats anyway; the tickets were purchased very last minute. Plane was absolutely packed.
