Prince of Persia on Saturday with Kei, Blue, Valentin and Sang Ji

It was pretty good. Impressed considering it is a video game movie (which as we all know have a reputation for sucking harder than Wyborg)

Good for you if you do not know how people employ it sometimes. We have had multiple SPAMmers in the past.
Iron Man 2, very cool

I certainly liked it

Avatar was good but I felt the graphics were a bit too strong. I know this is a strong point, but I think they overdid it, especially how the hammerhead rhinoceros's head had the blue stuff on it. Also The flying dragon things were too colorful

But the story was pretty great
So, I just saw this AWESOME movie called Park Grizzli and it is the BEST thing in the world!

Just imagine a movie about six punk unlikeable kids that go in some natural park for a very, very strange government program against youth crimes (I guess) and all get killed by ONE bear. Terrifying, right? Bear...

You gotta love the editing of this movie...Ok, it sucked.

Kai-V and I had a good time, though...although she complained quite often "I'm wasting so much time, now..." but I think she had fun, too XD

Next will be Prince of Persia! Looks awesome, man!

It's not a movie it's an experience. Best worst movie ever.

Time for you to watch "The Room". It's seriously all kinds of hilarious simply because it's such a poor movie.
Quantum of Solace, was good but preferred Casino Royale.
Street Dance 3D, ok but sooo cleshay.
Watched a horror movie called the locals. Wasn't really horror since there was very little blood and it wasn't scary at all. Wasn't that pleased with it.
AVP: Requiem.
I didn't love this movie, but I dont see why everyone hated it. Sure it was no AVP, but AVP gave a history to the Yautja and explained why they come to earth, where Requiem is more Aliens oriented and showcases the bloodlust of Xenomorphs. If you watch any of the Aliens movies they are all similar. It is really just about humans survivng, thats the only plot there is, unlike the Predator movies which try to showcase the history of the Yautja along with the plot..
I thought it was a very lacking sequel to the original. Could have been much better and the ending wasn't great.

True the first was better, but it was also directed by Paul Anderson. The second film had different directors, and it was their first movie so it had little chance of being better than the original. Sequels in mey experience are rarely better than the original(Look at Iron Man 2). Thats why no expectations of mine were crushed.
I watched The A-team on Saturday

Cute It was awesome!

Epic Tank Scene... noooo spoilers though. Wink
Prince of Persia SoT it's EPIC I recommend it to everyone.

Iron man 2 was 10 times cooler than the original! You're insane. I knew it's wouldn't be great but I didn't think it would be as bad as it was. Also all the sequels to alien were better than the original so why couldn't this be.

That was pretty humiliating XD

On another note, I just saw the movie Legion. Despite the slightly funny bits, like that crazy grandma jumping all over and yelling "The babies're gonna burn!" or the ice cream seller suddenly screaming like a banshee, it was actually pretty good! It had something I haven't seen in a while, in movies: Morals! You know, those things we usually thought to children, before? Only problem being that no children would ever be allowed to watch this thing...
That really proves nothing. Iron man 2 was much cooler than the original whatever you say. Also I still think the sequels to alien where all much better since THEY ALL HAD MORE THAN 1 ALIEN IN.

Alien 3 only had 1 alien, which is why it's not called Aliens but just Alien, like the original Uncertain

Besides, why would the fact that there's more than one alien make it a great movie? If your scenario is carp, it's not gonna immediately be awesome if you have more than one alien Uncertain

Actually it proves critics don't even agree with you, Iron Man 2 in general is not concidered better than the original, and that there are two Alien sequels that weren't concidered BETTER THAN the original which was your entire arguement. Just because you spout carp that you believe doesn't mean it's true. If you had said in YOUR opinion you would have had a point, but according to most critics including Ebert you are dead wrong. BTW Alien 3 only had one Xenomorph in it, and AVP:R had more Xenomorphs than both the original Alien and AVP, but it clearly wasn't better so obviously even your logic is skewed.
9. Great movie, the ending was pretty bad, though.
- Toy Story 3

this movie: sdjlksafdlksla;k

So, so good. The animated short film, "Day & Night" also had quite an impact on me as well.

It's not considered better than the original because critics, and generally everyone in our era automatically thinks realism = good unless it's animated, or obviously directed at a young demographic.

The only reason why the original SEEMED better was because a) they toned down the action to seem more "realistic" b) the plot/characters/villains all tied in with current events/terrorism which again made it seem more "realistic" c) there was less comedy/quirky moments. (realism)

Do you see a pattern here? (But 10 times better is a stretch, I'd say they were pretty much the same with the 2nd movie having a little more entertainment-flare)

As for the Alien franchise. Actually I agree the first movie is arguably the best in terms of script/writing. In visual direction and cinematography? Its severally lacking by todays standards.

But that's if you're limiting the genre to Horror/Scifi

Broaden it up to Horro/Scifi/Action and the 2nd movie was better in a lot of ways. The visual design was more developed, the premise was a more enticing, and just overall the movie had a much higher energy of thrill and enjoyment.

3rd is up for debate, went back to Horror/Scifi roots.

4th, general consensus was that its bad.

ANYWAY.

I saw The A-Team.

You wouldn't think it was bad if you actually saw how lame the original series was. It actually felt spot on, retaining the ridiculous over-the-top cheesiness of the 1980's series.
Going the Distance (2004)

It's like every road trip movie you've ever seen with a little Feris Buller's Day Off. Some minor laughs, the most notable being the popsicle scene at the local grocer. There are points where the movie goes batshit stupid, ie. the dude getting revenge on the main cast for trashing his car by putting their RV on train tracks with a train incoming. Not only that, but when the cast gets to Toronto to make the MMVA's by getting The Swollen Members to bring them on their private jet. Like come on. I remember the trailers for this being a lot more funnier than the actual movie was, lol.

Didn't get to catch The Karate Kid, or Toy Story 3 yet. TKK had limited seating when we got to the theatre yesterday, and TS3 was sold out.
