I see where you're coming from but I found ROTF funny most of the time hahaha.

I don't think I've said, I saw The Hunt For Red October last week it was aces. Thoroughly enjoyed that one. Anyone else seen it?

Closest thing to Pulp Fiction that Tarantino's ever done. Great film.

ahhhh i really want to see this

I have been meaning to see this for years. I just have not gotten around to it. Making a list of movies I have to watch in the free week before classes start. Might as well stick this on there.
Watching
"The Devil Wears Prada" right now
Very Man-LY!
Arjun, in addition to ".. Red October", add Rock'N'Rolla.
Yeah, its BA.
Very intricate weaving plot, large cool cast of characters, great writing, excellent acting, carping hilarious and brutal. Really slick presentation too. I go as far as to say it was perfect, there's nothing about it that i would change which, I dunno, never happens... I probably throw The Incredibles in that category but thats it..

Want to see Lock-stock and two smoking barrels now
I saw Inglourious Basterds with Ommy last night.

It was pretty entertaining. A bit too long, and it kind of starts to drag/get boring around the middle, but I still really enjoyed it.

Lock stock is great. I loved that movie. We even have the poster of it in our home theater XD
Just saw District 9 with Jonathan before he had to go home.

It was really good, I liked it a lot. They definitely left it wide open for a sequel though.
I rented Death Note from Netflix. Hilarious.
Just finished watching a japanese digimon movie, from season 3, [tamers]

Super nostalgia. The english movie they did was also pretty awesome. Probably going to re-watch it again soon.

on that note, [somewhat unrelated] Anybody remember Fox Kids?
I just saw "Mutant Chronicles"

I have seen worst. Way worst and I do not see why it has such a bad reputation. Rotten Tomatoes gave it 17% as a rating but they would rate Quarantine 59%? At least Mutant Chronicles had an interesting plot (Which didn't work out too well) unlike Quarantine.

So yeah, I don't recommend it, but it's not bad. It's broing, though, very boring.

[rec] (the Spanish film that Quarantine is based upon) is so much better then the American remake.
I caught 5 mins of Quarantine on th Movie network. The faked [by constant fast zooming in&out] shakey camera work is pretty unbearable. Does not feel like a real POV.

Don't see The Final Desitination either. No twists, some poor acting, nothing special at all.

Also I have to rant- carp 3D, carp Real D technology.
Whatever they want call it dosen't work well. Camera pans and movement get 'judder' and there are many double images esp with borders & text. It is at times eye straining to watch; the background/foreground can be extremely distracting and look fake. Ugh it nearly ruined Pixar's UP too
Not falling for it again [until TRON legacy IMAX 3D..maybe]
Adventureland -
The commercials make it seem like a comedy, but its really a romance with sprinklings of comedy. I enjoyed it though.

I Love You Man -
Nothing much to say, I laughed during the film, it succeeded at that.
Fast & Furious.

I liked it.
L: change the WorLd

aka L: Action Hero. At times it can be painful, I only need to say the scene where he straightens his back because Maki told him that he had bad posture. CG was minimal, but the few times it was used, outside of Ryuk, it looked pretty bad, especially the crack in the window at the end of the film. I won't rage too much about the CG since it's Japanese cinema, meaning the budget is probably just bigger then most Canadian movies.
I rented Shoot Em Up from Netflix and watched it with my cousin.

It was so awesome. It was action-Packed and hilarious. If i had to rate it i give it a 9 out of 10. The last scene in the movie just made be like damnn. I loved it

Saw this recently as well. I really enjoyed it. I like how it portrays L's more "human" side, rather than the "super detective" that most of the other Death Note related media portrays him as. It's something that was only touched upon with the anime and Los Angeles BB Murder Cases.

Also, it was quite funny seeing his hunched running position haha
G.I Joe . . . .is it really that bad?? I enjoyed every second of it and even though it wasn't quite the G.I. Joe movie we've all wanted I found it to bbe pretty good . .. . absolutely loved Rex's story
P.S. I also saw DN 1 and 2 . . I soo wanna watch L's movie!
Starship Troopers 3 :\ yeah the movie is really bad the CGI bugs in the first movie are still better quality then in this one.
SIlent Hill.
Bloody awesome! Alot of people who have played the games really dislike it but I luckily haven't played them so it didn't ruin the film for me. I plan on getting the games very soon.
Saw District 9 a few days ago

great, you all should go watch it.
saw the GI Joe movie a while ago and im seeing either inglorious basterds today or GAMER!!!
idk know which one i should see they both had awsome trailers
Which one do u guys think i should see?
Inglourious Basterds or Gamer
Inglourious basterds.

It's long, but it's worth it if only for the acting of that Jew Hunter. And are we talking about the same "Gamer"?
