Therefore, the whole movie loses its fright impact (That those are aliens, superior to us)

Besides, if they don,t have any cool new scary weapons, then that just makes the military's reaction that much more pathetic.

Bunch of cowards.

Are you serious? They were using better weapons than us, but they were still conventional weapons. If the military had to fight an enemy that used automatic rocketlauncers as their main weapon, the military would suffer high casualties. Once more, they had no clue how to kill the aliens. The military can be ineffective without being a "bunch of cowards". I don't know about Canada, but in the U.S. we respect our military for their bravery(of course there are still those who have an irrational hatred for the military), not for their effectiveness. We just also happen to have an effective military.
I'm not gonna comment on Canada's army (It would probably not work in its favor)

And I'm not talking about the U.S military, I'm talking about the military in this movie. They get ambushed and immediatly start screaming their lungs out. They're immature, stupid and seem horribly inexperienced to deal with either aliens or humans.

It's exactly because I know that the U.S military is better than that that I say the army in this movie sucks. You don't have to be a tactical genius to know that freaking out in an ambush situation doesn't work to your advantage.

I meant no disrespect to the U.S military and we probably shouldn't start a debate on that topic XD
The Man From Nowhere - 2010 - Korean - Action

Overall the film was... VERY GOOD; 8-9/10, I would watch this film another 2-3 times.

I was actually searching for Asian horror films but for some reason the website put this on the list (this was absolutely no way a horror film... but I'm flipping glad I stumbled upon it).

In my opinion the action scenes were nicely done; it's been a while since I saw hand-to-hand combat in action films like this. The ending made me want to cry/smile, a bit.
well i just got done watching tropic thunder and it was weird i wouldnt know how to rate this but i would say that if u r looking for a few laughs i guess watch it but other than that i didnt personally like it but there were a few good scenes
Limitless

Don't watch this movie. It feels like a TV-movie with a very cliche script that takes every turn you expect it to take.
Sucker Punch

I hated it. I seriously carping hated it.

And I don't really know why, I really seriously should love it. One of the scenarios has the girls fighting zombie-steam-nazis with a giant robot and katana swords.

Another one has them face off a dragon and orcs with guns. That's epic!

And yet, I truly hate this movie Uncertain

Infernal Affairs 1 - Chinese - 2002 - Action

I wanted to watch "The Departed", only to find out that it was a remake from this film. So I'd decided that I should give the original a try before seeing the remake. This film was EPIK!! Definitely worth an 7-8/10; hurt me if you must but I enjoyed this over "The Godfather" films; possibly because I found this more interesting. Now I'm actually unsure if I should watch the remake before finish the sequels...

But one thing did make me really happy, I finally found the source for this lolpic which was on my PC for a long time now.

Turns out it was from this film ^^
Godzilla Final Wars EPIC film

I was REALLY surprised by how really good this movie was. The acting of Jake Gy...Gyllen...umm...That guy from Prince of Persia was surprisingly good. The concept, while it seemed kinda weird in the trailer, was actually pretty cool.

I'd recommend it to pretty much anyone.

this looks like such a tremendously bad film from the adverts
Meh, Sucker Punch is okay.

I really hate it, but it's not that bad (It's no Transformers 2 or Troll 2). It's probably just because I had horribly high hopes for it.

If you've got nothing aginst the fact that most of the action results with 'It was just a dream!' then you should do okay watching it.
Pinapple Express

Dont scream at me for the fact i've only just seen it

O.o HOW COULD YOU NOT HAVE SEEN THAT MOVIE! Just kidding, but dude. It's a classic.

Pretty good film. But seriously, if you understand quantum physics then how can you not understand bloody parallel universe!

I really liked the ending of this film tbh and I came out questioning my reality for the first time in my life (FFUU)....

Anyway, all the way through that film, it was like playing "Cluedo", hah. This is the type of film where you guessed the perpetrator correct from the start. 7/10 (I'd watch it one more time)
Tangled

OK movie. The lines and the voice acting were great but the songs were bad. Good jokes sometimes but it had a lot of boring moments. Overall 6.5/10 or 3/5.
Holes. Love that movie. The soundtrack is one of my favorite movie soundtracks.
My sister showed it to me when I was five. 7.5/10
try '3 idiots'..
its a hindi movie(indian)..very nice indeed to me..lots of jokes and sad events..
Kai-V and I just saw 'Birdemic' as part of our strange "Bad Movie 'n Pizza" nights that we do, sometimes.

I heard of Birdemic by watching a review of it on TGWTG and it was pretty much as bad as the review made it out to be.

Just the fact that those are exploding suicidal birds that attack people because of global warming is hilarious.

Kai-V...well, she didn't exactly like it XD
Had a moviethon today and saw these:

127 Hours: Definitely going up in my favorite movies list. It was really intense and exciting and in a way, really scary that a man had to actually experience such pain. The soundtrack and cinematography was brilliant. A must watch.

Memento: I saw it last years ago, and I was really young so I didn't get any of it. People encouraged me to watch it so I did. It's clever and fun, but I was a little disappointed. It wasn't exciting enough for me.

Batman: Mask Of The Phantasm: Classic Batman movie. Love the animation.

Batman: Under The Red Hood: I expected a good movie, but not THIS good. My favourite DC animated film now. It was surprisingly mature and brutal compared to the earlier movies. A must-watch for fans of the Bat.

Battle Los Angeles: What was I thinking? One of the worst movies I've ever seen. I didn't expect a good movie, but I thought it'd be mindless fun. It was boring, all the scenes were repetitive. It had the worst story, most unoriginal story possible. Probably took a total of two minutes to think of.

I also saw a couple of Pokemon movies, Mewtwo Strikes Back and Rise Of Darkrai. They were okay. Are there any good Pokemon movies I should watch?
Whose seen Hot Fuzz
it cracked me up.
And the fact there were old people with guns was kinda cool Cool
I just watched the whole scary movie series, hilarious!
Batman: Under The Red Hood

I was hesitant to watch this simply because I feel like I'm getting to old to watch animated DC movies, that being said, I am so glad I watched this. The only way this movie could have been better is if it was live action with the best actors of the Batman Universe. The movie felt like it was meant for an older audience(there was even some language) and it felt as gritty as the Dark Knight in some points. The Joker isn't on screen much, but he is still as psychotic and murderous as his Dark Knight counterpart. I was surprised that John DiMaggio pulled this role off. Somehow the voice of Marcus Fenix and Bender can be manipulated into an interesting Joker voice.

Jensen Ackels did a great job as Red Hood. I it was his first time voice acting but he does a grat job in this film. The Red Hood(atleast the version in this film) is my new second favorite Batman character. He is a moral villain(if such a thing exists) and he had certain rules he enforced. That is a trait you don't see win villains anymore.

Batman was played by Bruce Greenwood. He is no Kevin Conroy, but Greenwood has a great voice for Batman. IMO he should voice over for Christian Bale in the live Action Batman films. Batman in this film is the same as always, but I was glad to see him use the gadgets he uses his billions to create(ie Batjet, Batmobile, ect). Neil Patrick Harris made an appearance in the film as Nightwing, and once more the voice fits the character well.

In all the film was excellent, the plot was great. I'd say half of the people who watch the film will predict t some of the major plot twists but they were great plot twists none the less. 9 out of 10
Just saw Skyline.

This is a huge downer, for me, because I expected something good. Saddly, there are just too many clichés in this mess. The movie actually opens directly to the alien invasion, which was a good sign. I hate when a movie just drags and that we already know what's gonna happen. It's a sc-fi alien movie: We saw the invasion in the trailer. But, after two minutes of pretty lights, they cut to fifteen hours earlier and that's when I knew I was gonna hate this movie. The main characters were all surprised to see the alien invasion, so nothing could possibly have happened in the fifteen hours before. And, fair enough, nothing freakin' happens! Also, this movie suffers from "Annoying-Characters-That-Are-Obviously-Going-To-Die" syndrome. I mean, you have the main character, his girl friend, comic relief black guy, his girlfriend, their assistant chick (Whom, I believe, doesn't actually have a line, in the movie) and much-too-serious fatso. Who will die, I wonder?

The effects are pretty good and the aliens look cool, but the story's been done before and there's no way to get emotionally invested in any characters, so their deaths don't matter at all.

Bad movie. That's all.
Skyline is an interesting movie. The directors of that film just so happened to own the special effects studio that did the work on that film, as well as Battle LA. There was so much similar that Sony accused them of taking the renders they paid for and using them for their micro-budgeted in comparison movie.
