So, I happened to catch the world premiere of a movie call A Letter To Momo at the Toronto International Film Festival. It's the sophomore effort from the director of Jin-Roh, and my gosh, it was great. I recommend you guys check it out when it's out.

If you'd like a 1500 word review, I wrote about it on I Miss Bionix.
Did no one see apollo 18?
Latest movie for me would be Zoo Keeper.
Last weekend, i watched Dragon Ball Evolution. I don't hate that movie. I don't even dislike it. Honestly, its a fun movie that people take too seriously.

Who cares if it isnt exactly like Dragon Ball or that it wasn't even close. Who cares if it was corny. Who cares if this, if that.

I like that movie. It's fun looking at it and saying "Hey, this is basically this in the Anime".

And i watched X-Men First Class.
I'm not an X-Men fan, but i liked it. It was a nice backstory, and i liked the way it played out.
So I just watched Insidious and was reeeally disappointed. I jumped about twice, the demon reminded me of Darth Maul, and too many spirits looked like Dr. Frankenfurter from Rocky Horror Picture Show.

As a Bleach fan that will very most likely be disappointed by the Warner Bros. Live-Action Bleach movie, I can tell you right now that true fans care.

What do you expect when you go see a movie called Dragon Ball based on the popular manga and anime series? You expect a faithful adaptation of freaking Dragon Ball!
Here's the thing, if you're a "true fan" of Dragon Ball, you know the story like the back of your hand especially since the same old story is all that's been shoved down fan's throats since the series ended in 1996. "True fans" know there's already different takes on the series that have the core elements but change things up for the sake of some originality. Different and new is something that fans of Dragon Ball have been clamoring for years to get.

Heck, DBE isn't even that poor of an adaptation of Dragon Ball. The problems that movie has is from the pacing that doesn't allow it to explain anything well to the viewers, and a lack of characterization outside of a few conversations. It could have been more, but it's certainly not some cancerous piece of media that deserved the hate it received from people who complained about Goku being played by a Canadian, or why Shenron didn't talk.
You know why that personally doesn't bother me Dude? It's not changing the way Dragon Ball is to me. Dragon ball is the anime and manga. I love the show. If I just look at the movie in the perspective of "woah, I wanna watch some kamehameha's and some dudes kicking the tar out of each other" then it's a fun movie. If I look at it with over expectations, there's no way it'll be a good movie.
All I care about is just to enjoy the movie.

Yeah To, I agree. But the way I see it, they stuffed everything up to piccolo, so there's no way they could provide info on everything. "Hi I'm bulma, I'm rich and I'm looking for the dragon balls". Cool, good enough for me. It fit in with their story. Not necessarily what fans wanted to see, but for the movie, it wouldn't make the ending more or less exciting. IMO at least.

When I went to go see it in theaters when it came out, my cousins loved it. And they don't know squat about Dragon Ball. It was just a fun movie.

And Chi-Chi was hot.
The last movie I watched was "The Rising Star". It was about these group of talented musicians move on to the finals to get their name out there to Hollywood Agents. However, the host didn't care about them and actually lied about the stuff they get to do. He only used them to get them to argue and fight.
Saw Invictus, a few days ago.

I approached this movie with a very cynical opinion. A movie about rugby, a sport I don't care about, and a politician? Surely this will be far too boring to satisfy my snob-like hunger! But I was totally wrong, this is an excellent movie! Morgan Freeman does a superb job as the president, Matt Damon, while a bit boring, turns in a good performance too. If Nelson Mandela was truly as kind, wise and selfless as he's shown in the movie, then he's one of the greatest man there is.

It's basically one of those really enjoyable sport-movie during which you seriously start rooting for the protag's team to win, like in the Longest Yard, Remember the Titans or Dodgeball, mixed with really smart lines from Morgan Freeman.

By all means, I recommend it.
The last movie i watch is Clash of the Titans in my Social Studies class at school
D'oh, I posted in a necro, and I feel stupid for that. Pinching_eyes_2
So I guess I'll post here as well.

Ra.One

It's a combination of sad moments, funny moments, and fighting scenes.
A Bug's Life.

Oh my god guys this movie is still kick-arse. XD

I honestly think it is very touching, almost at the same level of Toy Story.
I watched West Side Story not that long ago. It was an okay movie. The dancing and gang fighting was good. Tony was a retard, and his face is ugly. My favorite character would be Bernardo, the leader of the Sharks, played by George Chakiris. He really did a great job of Bernardo. If you have read Romeo and Juliet, or seen the play, this is pretty much like it, except the fact that it is set in the west side of New York City. Props to Chino and Doc, my second favorites. It was an okay movie.
Earlier this school year I saw Grave of the Fireflies. My God, it's such a sad movie...
They say it's one of the sadist WWII movies out there. I didn't cry, but it was still very sad...

Also, I'm about the finish The Power of One in my World Studies class.
Violence, blood, death, swearing, and we're watching this in school because?
I thought it was pretty good. The acting was pretty good, even with the boxing. Only part where it wasn't good was when someone wiped a boxer with a towel. The towel didn't even touch him...
Still need to finish the last few minutes, but I enjoyed it.

Ironic how the main antagonist (he Nazi) is played by a James Bond actor.
the last movie I saw was the EarthBound zero fan made movie, it was farly corny but it was closest fan made movie of the series thats finnised unless mine turns out better
Actually saw two movies, recently Joyful_3

First was Conan the Barbarian, the remake one, not the one with Arnold. I went into this movie with a very bad mood and came out... with an even worse mood. This not only does not come close to the epicness of the original, but this is a pretty bad movie period, even if we weren't to compare to the timeless classic with the Terminator and Darth Vador. This sucks, really. Arnold and James Earl Jones were pretty big shoes to fill, but I wasn't asking for that much. Terrible protagonists, laughable villains, stupid plot and... all around pretty bad. I do recommend it, though, just to laugh at it.

Next up was Puss 'n boot and I was pleasantly surprised. I liked the original Shrek, loved the sequel, thought the third one was trying too hard and felt the fourth one was a nice way to end the series. I didn't really how to feel about a spin-off, but I'm glad I saw this movie. Naturally, it's filled to the brim with cat jokes and puns, but that's not all there is. The Puss is fun and we get a coo love interest in the form of Kitty, a clawless black cat. Not sure if that's her name in english, too, but whatever. Humpty Dumpty was fun as well, but his multiple turn to evil (Oooohhh, big shock) seemed random and pretty stupid... Oh and the 3D was fully pointless, as usual. God I hate that carp 3D...
The movie Paul you know the one with the alien laughed my butt off Seth Rogan is mega funny
The last movie i watched was Puss in Boots, i watched it with a few of my friends and they died from laughter, I honestly think this movie is for all ages, theres comedy and love (how puss has a crush on the black cat who is good at stealing without the person knowing she was there), them two mixed together make a perfect movi

If I was to rate this out of ***** i would pick ****

Over all, awesome movie
Recently see "The Walking Dead"
I just saw Underworld 4: The Awakening.

I've always loved the Underworld series. This one was no exception. Packed with action, great realistic CGs, overall storyline is OK. The movie experience was great.

And don't get me started with Kate Beckinsale. <3
Ive seen a lot of movies recently,i dont know which one was laast, but this month and March,I watched:
Harry Potter DHP2
Jay And Silent Bob Striker Back
The Cay(Horrible,saw it in school)

The last movie i saw was Star Wars at the movies. And then i bought Real Steel on DVD because thats my favourite movie of all time. The only way i could get mum to buy it is because it had Hugh Jackman in it. LUV IT U SHOULD SEE IT
Sherlock Holmes \m/
Earlier today, I watched a movie called Bug. I liked it, but it was kinda freaky. If you do want to watch it, BEWARE. RATED R.

A few hours ago, I went to the movies and saw Wrath of the Titans in 3D. I never saw Clash of the Titans, but Wrath was awesome in itself. The 3D is also spectacular.
