The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951)
Good stuff. The story was ahead of its time
bug
Um.....Fluke. It was on TV the other day. It's actually pretty awful/cheesy - it's about this guy who dies and comes back as a dog......but it's really sad. I was bawling my eyes out. ^^:
Karas: The Prophecy

Enjoyed it, although the cg got annoying.
The Secret Agent. I think it's based off of some 17th century novel or something. I found it to be pretty lame, the politics in it weren't really THAT great, though we got a laugh when the PC playing the DvD froze at just the right moment for it to look as though some lady was staring at a man after she said "what?". The class started laughing after they realised it had frozen up but only about 20 seconds afterwards. You probably had to be there for it to be funny...
Watched the Jurrasic Park Trilogy.

Jeeze, Part Two: The Lost World is a crappy movie. Spielburg puts the annoying carp character in the lead, and goes Godzilla crazy at the end of it...

Argh! I hate that movie. It totally ruined Jurrasic Park. I try to forget it exists......

If you've got nothing else you want to see, I'd recommend it. Some might say that Keanu's acting was flat, but considering who he was portraying, I thought it was fitting. The story gives viewers something to think about, and the plot, while I felt it could have been fleshed out a lot longer, got its point across in the end. The special effects are nice as well.

At the very least, it was an entertaining diversion for me on the day I watched it.
Yeah I'm not expecting to be blown away, but I've never seen the original, so I dunno...

I still want to see it. lol
i was watchin Transporter 1 and 2 yesterday . . . .lukin forward to 3

That movie blew my perspectives on the JOker. Back in the Animated series and releated media, he such a whimp who always got beat up!
I miss ledger. ;_;
I just finished watching The Dark Knight 20 minutes ago. The movie blew my mind. It wasn't what I expected at all. If they're planning to make a sequel, I will watch it. It will be a huge loss without Heath Ledger playing the Joker though. His performance was great.
Yeah The Dark Knight is easily my favorite movie that came out this year. It has some minor inconsistencies and some other small issues but the movie is so awesome overall that I don't even really care.

I mean ffs, I paid to see the movie in theaters five times and I never go see movies more than once. I liked it that much. LOL
The day earth still stood
I watched American Beauty a few weeks back, was far out.

Latest "new" movie was Zack and Miri, I liked it.
Erm, well I've been watching insane amounts while playing runescape so here's a few I can remember.

Madagascar 2... Ehh... it was okay I guess. Not as funny as the first.

Senior Skip Day - This was pretty funny I guess, not the best film ever. =P

Shrek 3 - I had to stop watching this a little way in, it's just more of the same which gets real boring.

How to lose friends and alienate people - Wasn't really that funny. Killed some time though.

Yeeeeeeessssss

One of my favorite movies of all time. <3
Watched a few movies over the past week;

The Day the Earth Stood Still: ALRIGHT movie, although yet again its one of those films where its a desperate time and people make the most lamest decisions ever and theres some parts that does my head in, Keanu was the man in this though.

Batman Returns: Loved this movie, I really think the theme, look and feel should have been in all of the Batman films, a Dark and Cartoony side to it, Catwoman and the Peguin kicked carp and I really like how it focused on the upbringing of the Villans not to mention it focused more on them than Batman which is a nice change.

Batman and Robin: Terrible, end of.

Zach and Miri Make a Porno: This movie could have been awesome, but it just seems to slip at the end. And also mentioning the fact that it had Seth Rogens bunch of actors mixed in with Kevin Smiths gang of actors but to be honest the movie just ends up being some cheesy romance film during the middle part, and no Jay and Silent Bob was weird since it was a Kevin Smith film.
Balls Out. It was good, but not great...
