thanks. The only thing that bothers me is WHY did they have to make the shipping cost $20 as opposed to $5.
Well you see, ebay takes a fee away from you depending on how much you sold the item for.
Lets say you sold the item for £/$100 plus £/$5 for shipping. Ebay will take 10% of this. (10% is just for arguments sake) So you will be left with £/$90 plus £/$5 for the postage.
Where as if you sold the item for £/$50 and the postage was for £/$55, ebay would only be able to take £/$5.
So the total for the seller would be more profitable if the postage is high.
Where as the seller would lose out if he did it the other way around.
Lots of sellers do this.
