This applies to all collectibles, myself will pay premium price if the stuff has the original box.
No one has ever done that with beyblade. Maybe in other hobbies but not in beyblade. Maybe cause people in beyblade aren't dumb enough to put a price on a box unlike other hobbies.
Common, I have done it. Why would you say no one? I paid extra money if the item is with the box than without it.

Because no one sells the boxes and never that often are the boxes included with the beys out of the box in lots.
Plus they serve no purpose what so ever.

That is actually worth more than what you stated ... But it shouldn't be that high at its current price.
If there appears to be a lot in a listing, people will be interested. Even if its just useless garbage.

I think it's mainly just because it's the lead character's bey. I guess it has a decent amount of demand and one or two sellers on ebay noticed this and chose to take advantage and then the knock on effect happened and they all did it.
