Your Favorite Novel

I am currently reading "Series of Unfortunate Events". It is kind of gloomy but a good book so far. What novel's are you currently reading?
I'm not currently reading this, but there's a series by Darren Shan (the Cirque Du Freak guy) called The Demonata, and its about 3 kids who are from different periods of time, and they make up a powerful weapon called the Kah-Gash, which is the key to ruling the world, sorta. There are 10 books in the series, and they all are pretty gory, but its a good series.

Another one of my favorite novels is called Skulduggery Pleasant, and its about a undead skeleton detective, who solves crimes that deal with the world of magic. Sounds pretty childish, but it's actually a really good book series.
Sorry to sound like a poo head but, is this topic really needed? There's another with a similar idea:

Not the same thread, this is about favorite novels.
My favorite novels have to be...
1. Dune
2. The Great Gatsby
3. To Kil a Mockingbird
All great books. I read the first two in 8th grade and the last one in 7th so i will reread them again to appreciate them to the fullest. Somehow me and my three friends could turn everone of those into something comedic, ah good times good times. Anyway, i highly suggest these books for anyone who hasnt read them yet.

If you actually ever read the Hunger Games, you'd know it's not just about killing people.

true, i did a report on that book and had to make a movie poster of it and mine got best in my class. so i love that book for 2 reasons, 1 its the best story ever and 2 it got me a 100 on my project.

My favorite books of all time are the Secret Series by Pseudonymous Bosch and The Lost Journals of Ven Polypheme by Elizabeth Haydon. The first series, however childish they may sound, consists of five books about three schoolchildren (Cassandra, Max Ernest, and Yo-Yoji) who are in a constant struggle against a group of evil alchemists and their tyrannical god "Lord Pharaoh". Even though Bosch mostly writes for humor and painstaking suspense, the scene in the third book when the hommunculus died and the scene in the last book when the Bergamo brothers died brought tears to my eyes. The second series is about the son of a ship-manufacturer, Charles Magnus "Ven" Polypheme. His father and his twelve siblings build ships, whereas he wants to sail them. After being attacked by Fire Pirates during a ship's Inspection, rescued by a merrow named Amariel, and befriending a horrible chef nicknamed "Char", he ends up on the island Serendair, where he is accused of murder and thievery by the cruel owner of the White Fern Inn.

I am currently reading "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee, and love it so far.
My favorite series are 'Artemis Fowl' series by Eoin Colfer and Rick Riordan's series except 'The Kane Chronicles'
'The enemy', by Charlie Higson is pretty darn good , i've gotta admit.
But I also love 'Warrior cats' ,'Percy Jackson' ,'Cherub', 'The Hunger Games', 'Heroes Of Olympus' and 'The Kane Chronicles'.... It's so very hard to choose one Joyful_3...
