Metal Dranzer was always pretty good but overlooked! I was surprised and happy to see it at the event.
Probably because its base is right spin only, and its magic is lost if you use an SG base. That said, come on, this wasn't a hardcore competitive event. I played with a Dragoon G with a broken EG and a standard winder. The three who won had good combos and played well, but it's not like they were playing in a tournament that looked anything like it would have during the actual Plastics metagame.
God, I kinda hope left spin never comes back. Spin stealers are cool in theory but really boring in practice.
As for the WBO processing plastics and HMS events, I'm kinda in it with Kai-V. It's prohibitively expensive for most players and tournaments will be inevitably full of filler that isn't actually that good, but is all that is available. Not really a super competitive atmosphere, and it's a lot of work for the WBO to support events with such little activity.
Quote:TBH I've never understood why 10bBistool isn't used in Left Spin, because it would reduce recoil and increase Stamina (late game Spin Equalization against most things).
