Whine about your breaks

Has anyone broken the handle on a solid colored launcher yet? My two translucent yellow launchers and my translucent black launcher all have nubs but all of my purple/blue launcher handles are in tact.

Also, V2 update: I broke my 2nd one in the same amount of time that my first one broke (about 100 rounds). It was that same wing as always... Apparently holding it by the screws doesn't help too much. :p
I'll post a pic tomorrow but the plastic on my purple burst string launcher is getting eaten away like crazy. I didn't even notice until it got really bad. But the string basically burned a whole right through the shell of the launcher. RiP

Yay, I broke another launcher.

I don't think yay is the right word. I have yet to break any launchers, I'm really hoping I don't run into that problem. I really like the way the solid purple launcher looks, I'm going to be so peeved when it breaks.

Was the launcher suspension from MFB useful in avoiding breakage like it was supposed to be? I wonder if it would fit on the Burst launchers.

He's being sarcastic :/
I was obviously sarcastic. I'm not exactly rich, and like pretty much everybody I don't like breaking my toys. Well, I guess this is what I get for launching that hard...

At least, I can say that my new launching technique is effective, and I no longer need the Light Launcher to have a decent launch.
So the launcher still work? It is just just the handle that broke? I actually prefer the Burst BeyLauncher with just the nub, I find it easier to launch.

Here's the picture of my beylauncher. Ugh
That's strange - there should be a little metal ring around the opening the string goes through that prevents that kind of wear...
It does not even make sense that plastic would give way and tear like that before string does hah.

And on the topic of the purple BeyLauncher, I am quite sure mine is unable to rewind and obviously skipped a lot before.

This was probably my favourite BeyLauncher because of the nub handle, but now I must get used to an actual handle.. ;__;

Hey, this looks like an easy fix! If the the string only came out, then all you have to do is open up the launcher and put the string back in place.
The sting is completely out. I don't think you can fix that.
Yeah, you can if the string's not broken. Take apart the spring mechanism's outer casing, retie the knot at the end of the string, and put it back in casing. Much easier done than said, tbh. Really gotta get on that how-to guide to fix BeyLaunchers...
Somehow, my string launchers still good over the past 6-ish years, only the plastic's been chipped off.
Also... anyone else have that problem with mfb beylaunchers where you launch one bey and the string gets stuck, forcing you to pull it gently to go back into place? I think this might be the gears in the launcher breaking, causing a "skip" in the launch.
Note to self: Engine gear stadium destroys Metal Fight beys.

Damn; but nice stadium. Been looking for one a while now.
You probably wouldn't want mine, it's all torn up from cats (both mine and the previous owner's.) The stadium itself is fine but the area around the pockets has tape all over it. I guess that could be considered a break in a way too, I guess. Still, I found it at a yard sale 6~ish years ago and never looked back. Good price too Wink

At least it was just a semi-flat tip. Minutes before the break I was testing out my new HF/S which I can't find anywhere in a decent condition anymore.
I swear Black SFs from Rock Aquario always breaks! This is the fourth or fifth time I've seen it without having to search it, 2 from real life. I guess only Dragoon GT and Dranzer GT can handle such a menacing stadium, because anime logic:
Trust me, I have a Stadium 1 in awful shape. I'm sure that's better.
My other translucent yellow string launcher from Xcalibur is kaput. The string started fraying and isn't rewinding for about half the length of the string.. Unhappy

Here is where it started fraying:
I started using it less than a week ago, and had only used it for around 100 launches before, and about the same now. Pretty sad that after 200 launches, it was done. May try to replace the string, but this is still bad.

Onto my last string launcher!

I don't know if this is true, but I heard through the grapevine that the Burst string launchers aren't as powerful or sturdy as the light launchers. I expected the sturdy part, but the power part? Anyway, that's a pretty unfortunate break. At least you have another launcher.
They are definitely as powerful and more than Light Launchers, but Light Launchers skip a lot almost right out of the box too. All in all the durability of all Burst launchers is very bad...
Well, I'm back already. My orange string launcher string launcher has a crack down the middle of the handle. The insert in the back of the handle came out when it cracked too, so I glued it back in. I'm waiting for the glue to dry overnight, or maybe a bit longer.

Not quite sure how I did this but I broke my beylogger. Somehow I bent the peg there and it was obviously not fitting into the launcher properly. I was able to break off the peg so now it doesn't really matter.
