I like rap, hiphop and rock kidtala should already know that lol XD
rock has many different styles but obviously rock ftw Smile
My type is Rock and pop but I listen to whatever just sounds good, regardless of what type it is. The one real thing I can't get along with is heavy metal.

I don't like the Dragonforce one that much but that nightwish is pretty good.
Aussie Prog is my favourite at the moment. Bands like Karnivool, Cog, Dead Letter Circus, Sleep Parade etc.
Karnivool are easily the best rock band in Australia at the moment.
This is one of their 'not so heavy' songs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mR7SzOdW3Vg

EDIT: bey tempest, I love Breaking Benjamin Grin I'm playing rain at my friend's mum's 50th. Oh and my band played Blow Me Away not too long ago at school Tongue_out
Thrash Metal and Hard Rock FTW! Hard Rock and Thrash Metal are hard to decide, but probably Thrash Metal. Stuff like Megadeth, Aerosmith, Gun's N Roses, that stuff. Also I hate Pop but to me Michael Jackson has made the best songs of all time, followed by megadeth.
mine literally change ever few months. for the past year i've liked happy hardcore, hip hop, trance, electro house, r&b and rock

right now my fav genre is rock though
Mostly Prog, but I really do just enjoy listening to good music whatever the genre. I like to relax to music which is played from the heart, music that has real emotion and soul. As a listener I enjoy connecting with the artist's message whatever it may be.

Me too actually. Lots of Lambert, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, etc.

I don't mind Lady Gaga, she knows how to write a catchy pop song with plenty of hooks. Though i don't like how she is copying Madonna's rebellious nature and blatantly stole the idea for the lightning bolt across her eye from David Bowie.
I don't think she's necessarily stealing from them. I think it's more that they're nods or homages to her musical and stylistic inspirations.

Green Day , Blink 182, MCR , Muse XD , Coldplay . . . I vote rock lol

I think that there is a fine line between acknowedgment and plagiarism. So far i don't think she truly formed her own unique style or sound, she has only borrowed from others and shown glimpses of what she truly can do artisticly.
I expect a major shift in direction in the near future from her.
