What should I focus on to get better?

My son and I got through our tournament Friday and chalked it up to a learning experience. We did 5 rounds to qualify for the top cut, I won 2/5 and my son didn't win a single match. One of my two wins was *against* my son, and I tried to throw it so he could have one W for the night. I purposely picked my beys so that he countered me still beat him. You know that Phoenix Wing vs Silver Wolf match up I was complaining about at the start of this thread? We go to a tournament and PW freakin' Xtreme finishes SW for the win while I'm *trying* to lose.

You can just call me Moon. This is not a guaranteed fix but it does help mostly prevent the issues of the hold launcher. I will also check with the discord server and if I find anything new I will reply with another solution.

Look at Volnutt’s comment. They are the one who shows how to fix the launcher issue and shows photos. Volnutt is also the one who helped me with my Japan guide post, feel free to check that out if you have a trip to Japan. 

Also I am not sure if there is different molds of the Hold/Victory launcher as I never fully paid attention to it but still do follow the repair as the Extended Length Ripcord works best with the Hold Launcher and you can only currently get it in the Hasbro Samurai Saber set if you live in a non Asia region.

If you want guidance on finding a good emergency backup incase your child’s hold launcher breaks I can help you find one. I usually am trusted with helping guide others on what to buy for the best value. If you want to also drop your part list if you want to know any beys you should buy for best value mention that in your reply, not saying you have to but I am trying to help out on other things.

For the last part of your reply that I am replying to, please actually drop the list of all the parts you have. A lot of people usually write every bey they have in their notes app for easy access for asking others on deck build help. I am sure me or other trusted bladers can help your son out.

Anymore questions just ask them here, me or Frisk or other bladers are happy to answer them all. Also ask your son if he has any questions that we can answer.

Hopefully Volnutt’s repair will stop the issues. One blader on the discord said to use the proto launcher ripcords which still allow them to be put into the Hold Launcher but admittedly won’t look as cool as extended ripcord. Save your extended ripcord for actual important battles and tournaments but during casual play stick to the proto launcher ripcord

this should be helpful. Just turn on auto generate English captions, the captions are not 100% accurate but it'll help give you a good idea. you can also just look at their body language to get a good idea

Hey i kinda broke my grip by launching to hard with the bite Croce string launcher and now the launcher is weaker, help
