Wizard Rod 1-60 Hexa is a commonly used option.
Silver wolf 0-70 Hexa works great.

Hasbro or Takara?
For Hasbro I would say
PhoenixWing 3-60W
WizardRod 9-60B (Stamina type but practically defense since X basically swapped the two types at this point)
SilverWolf 9-70H
For Takara?
BlastW7-70H
Phoenix1/3-60W
Rod1-60B
I have found success using Silver Wolf 9-60 E as a non stationary defense type but can be beaten by a strong stamina bey like Wizard Rod
i've tried ScorpioSpear 3-60/3-70/5-60/5-70 Wedge and it was great. It has good defense and stamina, sometimes can even outspin wizard rod on hexa if used correctly
you could also try Rock Golem 7-60/7-70 Hexa/Wedge/Under Needle

Personally I enjoy Hover Wyvern 1-60HN.
It is tall enough for hover wyverns blade design to help, the 1-60 keeps it out of the pocket, and high needle is just a fun bit i dont see used very often.
you can color match with hasbro's hover wyvern, the 1-60 from wand wizard 1-60R, and the HN from Lance Knight 4-80HN

Does "Hasbro" refer to the Hasbro Stadium? I imagine that's what it means in this context, but I'm not 100% sure.
I don’t know Takara beys but I do know some good Hasbro ones. They do have a dependency on the type of bey they’re against so they might not be useful for versatility
Just ask me if you want to see some of the combinations
