I'll try to come this time.
Hi everyone! We have an indoor venue again for February's tournament:
Please note that the location for this month's tournament is in Washington, DC - not Silver Spring.
The Marriott Wardman Park Hotel is located about 100 yards west of Connecticut Avenue on Woodley Road. Parking in the surrounding neighborhoods can sometimes be challenging due to the close proximity of the National Zoo, so please plan to either arrive early to find free parking, arrive whenever and pay for parking, or take the DC Metro Red Line to the Woodley Park / National Zoo station and a very short walk to the hotel.
Date: Saturday, February 25, 2012
Location: The Marriott Wardman Park Hotel: 2660 Woodley Road NW · Washington, DC 20008 (We will be in the McKinley Room) https://www.marriott.com/hotels/maps/tra...dman-park/
Registration: 11:00am - Noon
Start time: 12:30 on the dot - Don't be late!!!

I'll attend most likely. If I can find a ride.
So, inspired by Uwik and his Asia Ranking thread, I wanted to provide the first installment of the:
I decided to go with the Top 15 because we have a lot of "guests" who visit the area and I wanted to be able to include them as well. The points listed below are current as of 2/2/12, but do not include results from The Novem-Brrr Brawl, Holiday Hammer, or Ataque de Año Nuevo.
Let me know what you think!
Should we keep the guests in the list or purely limit the list to "locals"?
If we limit to locals, should it just be a Top 10, or should we keep the Top 15?

Purely limit for locals only
Also include:
1.Inactive bladers will not be on the ranking list witch goes too (Otsu)
2.Othellog used to be a local blader....So make a Virginia Ranking list for Angry Face and Othellog
3.If WBO made sub Ranking system or Skill system will change the metagame system
In matter in fact it up to othellog/angry face if he wants to be up the Maryland Metagame system

And isn't Dekailo a NYC blader? Unless shes attending monthly MD tourneys; Otsu is inactive and othellog is in VA o.o. Also, I strictly think the rank should be only for DC/MD besides we have the world ranking provided by WBO...
Well, several of our "local" bladers are from Virginia and don't blade anywhere else but here...
Breaker for example is from Winchester, VA. He should definitely be included!

But we should give Breaker 4-5 tournament chances when ever the chance he can come!

First,No I"m not from VA I'm a Marylander
Also, for my lack of attendance...I have been feeling really ill lately but I am almost 85% sure I can make this one.
Finaly If I cant make this one it will probably be due to my lack of a ride.
Ah, my apologies Breaker!
Hmm... Someone's from Winchester...

Joseph317 and I are in!!! Did a little shopping last night and worked on some new combos! Look out BIG BLUE is coming to town!!!
Fantastic! We look forward to seeing you here!
Alright Arupaeo it is your list though but I still dont think Deikailo should be on there, I mean, she got most of her points in NY/NJ tournaments. Still don't agree with it though.

I asked for everyone's input - and I'm glad that you gave yours! I hadn't made any changes yet because I'm waiting for other people to chime in and say what they think.
But I hear that you'd like to see some changes now, so I would:
- Take out Deikailo, MetalZoroark, and Like A Boss, as being from out of town.
- Reserve the right to add Like A Boss back in if he comes back to DC for the summer like last year
- Keep othellog and Angry Face in the rankings in principle based on their general proximity
- Remove bladers that haven't been to a tournament in 6 months (including Otsu and yujay9)
- Limit the list to the Top 10.
So the list would look like this:

What do people think about that?
