TBD stands for To Be Determined. I will update with final prize selection in the next day or so, and yes, there will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
Hi everyone! We have an indoor venue again for January's tournament:
Ataque de Año Nuevo (roughly... "New Year's Attack" in Spanish)
Please note that the location for this month's tournament is in Washington, DC - not Silver Spring. After nearly 2 months of searching and receiving price quotes from various schools, community centers, hotels, etc. this is the only option that I can reasonably afford - so this is where we are going to be until the Spring.
The Marriott Wardman Park Hotel is located about 100 yards west of Connecticut Avenue on Woodley Road. Parking in the surrounding neighborhoods can sometimes be challenging due to the close proximity of the National Zoo, so please plan to either arrive early to find free parking, arrive whenever and pay for parking, or take the DC Metro Red Line to the Woodley Park / National Zoo station and a very short walk to the hotel.

Start time: 12:30-ish
Surface: Carpet!
Fees: $5 Room Fee + Standard WBO fees: $5 entry fee or $10 for a Blader Passport that gives you free tournaments for a year

Sorry about the confusion. The other tournament is an HMS tournament that Galaxy4Stars and I are co-hosting together. The good news is that they are both happening on the same day at the same place at the same time - so even had you signed up for that one, it would have been alright!
Regardless, I've got you on the list!
how can you run two tournaments at the same time
You will find out! It's all about advanced planning, good judges and good organization skills. We've done it before at The Dual Duel, and it works great!
Plus the HMS tournament will be small.

I've you all up on the list!
ShadowGasher: Your brother's desired username will be too long. We can register him at the event if need be, but it would be better if he has an account created for him ahead of time and then have him post a response here in this thread so that we have his correct username. Thanks!
Thanks. I will create an account for him.
Is there an age limit (too young?, too old?) for the event?
I am new to all this. Will be reading the FAQ's and rules in a bit.

There is no age limit in the WBO, and everyone is welcome to compete. If you have any specific questions about tournaments in general, feel free to reach me via pm, and any questions about this tournament specifically can be posted here.
Hey Arupaeo what will you be selling at the tourney this time?
PM him.
Oh man I am so excited for this tournament I am still waiting to see if I can go for sure, but I have about a 70% chance. I need to buy an hms bey real quick before this tournament so that way I can be in the other tournament, does anyone have any suggestions on what to buy, I don't have any hms beys. Just pm me if you have an Idea.

You should know by now that we have "Beywiki", where this could have been answered so easily without you posting that question.
