WBO Organized Play Random Thoughts

Rank 352?? Cue Twix theme song... I went from 538 to 352 by 6 wins?? Astonishing, oh.

By the way, have any committee members considered walk on songs? Say it was my turn to battle, they announce my name, blast the speakers with the song of your choice. Or would this only be used on BeyDays...

Congratulations! But it only gets more difficult once you reach 1,600+ BeyPoints, so don't be so sure that it will be as 'easy' as it was to make it to the Top 10! Unless you're capable of going undefeated every single tournament, it's probably going to take a while. There's certainly no possible way for you to gain 60+ BeyPoints at your level over just two tournaments as you suggested here, even if you did go undefeated and defeat players like Arupaeo multiple times. That's just the way the BeyPoint System is set up; it's easier to gain BeyPoints when you're lowly ranked, but it gets harder the higher you climb. I mean, just take a look at how long I've been stuck between 1,640-1,700 BeyPoints lol. You have the benefit of having a few more highly ranked players to play against right now than I do, which should help your cause, but it should still be difficult. There's a reason why only one new player has entered the Top 5 since the mid-2012 tournaments were processed.
Yeah, based on the rankings in MD and Toronto it appears Stars has a much better chance of catching up to you than you do in getting to number 1, I think there's 14 MD Bladers in the top 250 now and other than you, JesseObre, and LMAO is anyone else from Toronto up there Kei?

I know Pyrus1000 and Del are in the top 250 now.
There's actually a lot of us in the top 250, there's Pockyx3, JesseObre, Kei, Me, Del, Pyrus10000, FlameDragon25, 1234beyblade, Davidblader?, Daegor42, and a few other older members in Toronto.

Also, there's a few that don't battle anymore at all pretty much, like Crimson, TehBrownSauce, ElJihado, Minion, theunderdog, lordwolfblade, etc..

Plus in my opinion, the best Beyblade cities/countries, is in this order:

-London, UK.
-Toronto, Canada.
-Maryland, U.S.A
-North Carolina, U.S.A
-Sydney/Melbourne, Australia.
-Michigan, U.S.A.

But that's just my opinion, not through ranks haha.
Oh. By ranks, I would go
1. London
2. Canada
3. MD
4. MI
5. VA
6. Chicago
7. CT

What about NY?
Yeah, I forgot about that.
It would be 6/5.
We should figure out someway to easily total up the Beypoints over 1,000 of a certain region without having to go page by page to truly figure out rankings, but that is a project for someone with a lot more patience and time than I have.

Top 250 is kind of random, but I just counted and there are 26 of us. Like LMAO said though, many of them aren't active anymore. Here's a list I just put together:

WBO Organized Play Rankings - Toronto
As of 6/29/13 - School's Out, Bey Now!

Legend:
[A]: Active. Currently plays in almost every tournament.
[PT]: Part-time. Plays occasionally.
[R]: Retired. No longer plays.

5. Kei - 1,660 [A]
7. JesseObre - 1,600 [A]
19. The Boss - 1,509 [PT]
25. theunderdog - 1,474 [PT]
26. Pockyx3 - 1,468 [A]
29. FlameDragon25 - 1,463 [PT]
48. Del - 1,398 [A]
55. GONE (formerly Xman8024) - 1,385 [R]
56. ali12345456 - 1,382 [R]
57. TehBrownSauce - 1,377 [R]
66. Marco - 1,361 [R]
93. kool-kid9980 - 1,312 [R]
96. 1234beyblade - 1,310 [PT]
98. Pyro - 1,309 [R]
99. neilanpolbeley - 1,308 [R]
103. Crimson - 1,304 [PT]
105. ElJihado - 1,300 [R]
168. -JellyLover- - 1,242 [R]
172. Wrathn - 1,239 [PT]
173. nile8 - 1,239 [R]
181. summonkeep3 - 1,234 [R]
184. Suntailhawk - 1,232 [A]
208. Davidblader2004 - 1,223 [A]
229. LMAO - 1,207 [A]
242. Minion - 1,200 [PT]
246. Daegor42 [R]

Our problem is that, as you can see, many of the players outside of the top and bottom few right now are retired. And just for reference, from this list, here is everyone who was ever in the Top 15: Kei, TehBrownSauce, kool-kid9980, Marco, JesseObre, FlameDragon25, GONE, ali12345456, theunderdog, Pyro, ElJihado, The Boss.

I'm obviously not as familiar with Maryland as I am with Toronto, but Maryland in particular seems to have a lot more highly ranked Bladers right now, like Toronto used to.

That being said, LMAO will definitely be moving up once more tournaments have been processed, and Suntailhawk and Davidblader2004 are good enough to eventually move up too.

It would be cool if other people around the world who are familiar with their communities could compile lists like this for their area. If a few people do it, maybe we can make a "Regional Ranking" thread.
I could get a list like this set up for MI tomorrow since we are completely up to date.
I could try to have a list for MD compiled by the end of the weekend (assuming a few more things get processed), also, like LMAO ginga and I should also be moving up dramatically once all the tournaments are processed and 250 just because its pretty much the cutoff for 1200+ beypoints and for me personally I feel that someone is serious competition once they have over 1200 points.
I can most likely get a list for Chicago going soon.

This list is for highly ranked bladers (like rank 250+) and for communities that have had numerous tournaments, and the people creating these list know their meta incredibly well. Chicago has only had one tournament, and is yet to be a really competitive tournament scene. So I dont think a list for chicago would be much help, sorry.
Okay, well I'm in the top 250 so XD. I will in a few months or so.

You know, these lists will actually help a lot for something other than bragging rights, it will be a nice place other than tournament threads to know who the bladers, specifically the top ones in each area are since for at least me personally and I'm sure it applies to a bunch of others as well, outside of the people who post a lot the other top bladers aren't very well recognized as being from a certain area
Michigan, USA Bladers In The Top 250

22- Yuko Ray14 [A]
97- Fang Wolf [A]
133- PANAsher [R]
160- Coach [PT] (he told me might pop up at a few tournaments)
189- The Archer [A]
236- Wyatt V2 [PT]
244- DaWRETCHED-one [R]

There isn't a lot of us haha
Well hey, I come to every Michigan tournament as of now, so don't I get a shot at the list?
I doubt Illinois has four even XD
Hopefully there'll be more tournaments here. Specially once I can start hosting more often.
Serious I will also host too ya know. Chicagos already having a comeback. And with all my friends, a huge one too. Can't wait to get first place again XD

Its still Michigan though, If I went to a bunch of Toronto tournaments that still wouldn't make me a Toronto blader.
Getting a list up is the easy part. Now, keeping that list updated with every tournament processed is a whole different story. I hope you guys are up to the task.

Anyway, I just processed a bumload of tournaments, mostly in Northeast / Mideast US. Now go check your rankings again!

If you're just sampling the top 250, it actually doesn't take too long to put together.
Thank you so much Uwik! You're awesome! So excited to have rank!

Then again, I barely made the top thousand lol. At least it'll get better for each new tournament!
