IMPORTANT: The limit of registered bladers has been reached.

Boo! Beware, Toronto bladers! Come this October, a terrible force shall rise and threaten the land! The only way to beat it is to raise our collective Beyspirit and scare it off before it scares us! Come to this fall tournament and help us win the battle... unless you're afraid of Things That Go Bumpking in the Night.

Location: This tournament will be held at Dufferin Grove Park. It's located just a short walk south of Dufferin station.
Date: Saturday, October 30th, 2010.
Time: The tournament will start at 12:00 P.M. (noon) but you should get there at 11:30am.
Cost: It will cost $5 to enter just this tournament, or you can purchase a Blader Passport for $10 to have access to tournaments for the whole year.
Format: Standard Format - This means MFB/B:MF for the main tournament, and no Metal System Libra wheel. Feel free to bring HMS, plastics, or Libra for free battles.

Prizes: Wait and see.

Directions: If you're taking the subway, get off at Dufferin station and walk a block and a half south.
If I'm not at the entrance, chances are I've already went to the tournament grounds. Follw the path and you should find me.
Video Directions: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZyoYxcbGXIA - I know it's for Bey Fray, but it's the same location.

Other information: This might seem obvious, but if you wish to participate, it would be best if you bring your own Beyblades. There will be no blades provided for you to borrow.
If it is sunny, make sure to bring adequete protection, and cool water. If it is chilly, bring a sweater or some form of insulator to keep yourself warm. We will be outside for a while.
If you have access to a stadium, please bring it. Even if it's not competitively viable, we can still use it for free play.
There is now a Marketplace thread for this event.

I think that you two are right on 30 and 31.
So one of you might have to be a possible atendee.
Im for sure gonna be there
4 spots left people.
Ya theres a HUGE chance I'm coming. The only way possible that I won't come is if I get sick so put me on the list.
The limit of Attendees has been reached. Everyone else has been placed on the possible list.
Can't believe I thought of the idea of the halloween theme and I'm not even going to be able to participate.

Hn, I think I want this to stay open for now. I will simply place all new "attendees" under possible.

If it gets too bad, I will request a closure.
Well, obviously everybody ignores the limit, and does not read or understand that the limit has been reached ... A simple way to avoid repeating that is to simply lock the topic, hah.

Very well. Lock this for now.

EDIT: If you as an attendee realize you can no longer come, please PM me.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: There is a chance that it will rain on Saturday. The tourney will proceed even if it is lightly raining, so bring an umbrella or a raincoat.

HOWEVER, if the winds are as strong as they have been recently, or if it is raining too hard, the tournament will in fact be cancelled. Please check here before leaving to the tournament grounds. I will post a notice on the day of notifiying if it is or is not cancelled.

Also, unfortunately, my prize plan seems to have fallen through, so there will not be physical prizes for the top players, unfortunately.
Is there no shelters at the park? It may have been a better idea to host this at High Park ...

And dude, you should have contacted me! I don't know what your plans were, but we could have provided some funding.
There's a shelter, but I doubt it can hold 30+ people.
are you gonna dress up Deagor? When you get there I'll be the guy dressed up as Ruuga Smile
How long before the tourney you post if it's canceled 'cause I take like 1h 30min travel so....

Also, is Kei funding prizes? I'm confused.
Do you think there is a another tournament that would be made before January?

I should post around 8 AM.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: The tournament is not cancelled. Kei has taken over.
I was about to post Good Luck to everyone tomorrow, but, yeah.
I hope those events don't impede any later organizations of yours.
