SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 12PM
High Park - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
LIMITED FORMAT
Limited Format Primer

I'm sure September is a pretty depressing time in our lives for a lot of us. Why? You guessed school? Well, you're right. School. Papers, pencils, quizzes, exams and birthdays? Put away your textbooks, get out your blades and come on down to High Park on September 13th to celebrate Hato's Birthday. Here's some more information on Toronto's next upcoming tournament. Hosted by Mitsu and played in a Limited Format.

Directions

Start Time
We'll be starting the event at 12:00. It would be appreciated, however, if attendees would be there at least a couple of minutes earlier so we can get the battles and or blocks ready beforehand. I do have plans for this day but am still very willing to host. If you guys can cooperate, I'd be very appreciative. Smile

Entry Fee
Tournament entry will cost six dollars a person, although if twelve dollars is payed, a Blader Passport would be yours, along with a cool Passport Face online! Most importantly, though, free tournaments until your passport expires the following year. How cool is that?

Side Note
We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!

All questions for this tournament may be asked in this thread.

Today was a great day! Grin

Scythe was used a lot today... I know that at least half of my battles were versus a Scythe combo... ;~; but Dark Knight was used quite a bit today... I'll post my opinion tomorrow, to lazy to form one right now.

But just quickly: I feel that Scythe is not ban worthy, but Dark Knight could potentially be ban worthy.

Congrats to u wot m8 for placing first, and to Jesse for placing second! And Kei... must I thank you with all those faces you already have? Unsmith

Really enjoyed not seeing Libra, but was sad that I could not use my favourite limited metal wheel: Omega.. ;__; but it was fun seeing the combos people used!! Grin

I went 1-4, but my friend (who hasn't played in 4 years; at all) went 2-4... 0_o well then...

All and all, great day!! It was awesome seeing everybody!! Grin
Super fun day! It was a little chilly and my hands froze like they always do, nevertheless congratulations to all the placers! Also to BAWB18 for coming in at 4th!

See you all at the Zankye 100K event!

Libruhhh

RIP Libra 2013-2015

Get your eyes checked since Standard is the best format hahaha

Just kidding, but yeah I agree. It did feel fresh, but Right Spin Attack is seriously lacking. Someone should find a good option for Right Spin Attack soon.
Today was amazing! The best part was the free play before the tourney, it was so much fun! I also enjoyed the end when we decided to use right spin lightnings to put some real chaos into our bey battles haha, me, suntail, and wally had a 3-way battle with right spin lightning and let me tell you it was so crazy!!! the beys went flying all over the high park area where we play! That aside i went 3-3 today, there is always bad ones in the bunch, I can't win them all haha. Pyrus came back from his IRL Osu!Mania lessons and ended up doing some awesome stunts in the beyblade tourney like rekt Scott ;3 I'm really excited for the next tourney! THE 100TH TOURNEY IN TORONTO! And lastly happy birthday Hato!
Another great day! Went 2-3, but hey, we all have our good days and we all have our bad! Congratulations to all the placers! Not in the top 3, but amazing performance of BAWB18's today!

Dark Knight Girago (and Wyvang in some cases) LTAC was used a ton today, more specifically by BAWB. Personally, I don't know where I stand on Dark Knight and a ban, personally. It's pretty darn versatile (BAWB18's MSF-H Dark Knight Girago LRF was used to beat a Earth RSF combo of Wally.web's), especially when against Defense. If it doesn't KO defense at a lower height (not at a high one because of their precision), it can generally out-spin. At the same time, however, I only find Bahamdia and Girago have success at out-spinning. Gryph has a very rough time doing so from what I've tested. If we a ban a piece, I'd say we ban it as a whole.

I'm with family right now and I think It'd be kind of awkward sending in results, but becuz thug life, I'm going to start working on it in a bit. I'm going to start by posting the winning combinations. Smile

Thank you all for coming out! Hope you all had a good day!
Congrats to the placers! How many people came?
Hi guys! Today was fun but the weather sucked. It was nice to come home to a nice bowl of soup. Anyways, highlights of the tournament include: GRF, Free play, Lightning right spin, picking up Lightning right spin, pyrus's secret appearance, BATTLE STRIKERS, Scott's aggressive tip Wink , Mcdolans, placing for once, lamo sucks, I can beat you with one hand tied behind my other h..gfd.fdg.df back.

Anyways, today was fun I came home pretty late, congratulations to scott and jesse and bawb18 coming in 4th was a huge surprise! See you all soon!

Yo, we saw a guy that look identical to Dark_Mousy yesterday. It was insane. XD

@[LMAO]
That reminds me;

Was fun stealing 1234beyblade's DK Girago, then running away from u wot m8 Tongue_out
@[Mitsu], there is a small issue with the results: I know for sure that my loss against JesseObre in the Finals was the last battle before the Finals Tiebreak. I had defeated BAWB18 and then U wot m8 first and being 2-0, if I had won against Jesse my record would have been 3-0 and Jesse/U wot m8 would have been tied at 2-1.

@[LMAO], this is why we should wait a few days at least after the results have been posted publicly before we go ahead and process events. Smile

edit: Spotted another issue. The order of the Finals Tiebreak also seems to be incorrect; my loss to U wot m8 was the final battle of the tiebreak, not the first. I think the order you have there should be reversed: U wot m8 vs. JesseObre was the first battle of the tiebreak.
Sorry Scott, you're completely right!

edit: Just made the changes now. Smile
