Saturday, June 25th, 11:00am
Dufferin Grove Park - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Burst & MFB Limited Format

School's finally out for the next two months! Time to binge bi-weekly events with the Toronto Bey Squad!

Schedule
11:00 - 11:15 a.m. Burst Outta School Registration

11:15 - 2:00 p.m. Burst Outta School Tournament

2:00 - 2:30 p.m. Break

2:30 - 2:45 p.m. Flame Up The Summer Spirit Registration

2:45 - 5:45 p.m. Flame Up The Summer Spirit Tournament

Please note that these are rough estimates so it could take less time to finish the tourneys themselves (If you only plan to attend the MFB tourney I think it would be safe to say to come at least 30 minutes prior to the registration). Either way there will be a 30 minute break in between tourneys so the players don't pass out from starvation.

After Flame Up The Summer Spirit, feel free to stay by and play in an unranked BeyWarriors tournament! If you don't have your own BeyWarriors tops, we got you covered!

Location
Dufferin Grove Park

We will be near the Fire Pit in the park, the area is really small so it would be really hard to miss us if you stop by the Fire Pit!

Entry Fee
Tournament entry will cost six dollars a person, although if twenty dollars is payed, a Blader Passport would be yours, along with a cool Passport Face online! Most importantly, though, free tournaments until your passport expires the following year. How cool is that?

Side Note
We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff, but, it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up to any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!

Post here if you know or think you will make it to this tournament, also feel free to ask any questions you might have about this tournament! See you there!

Hell

*internal sadness intensifies*

Yea I'll be there Wink
Just to let everyone know, this tournament has been moved to the 25th rather than the 26th, thank you!
Just as a heads up, your limited banlist is a bit off
You forgot Libra is banned, 4D Jade is allowed, etc...
ARGH I'M WORKING AGAIN. There's no chance of me getting my company's Year End Presentation off, but I knew that I'd have trouble making it out to tournaments in June because I work more on the weekends than I do weekdays. [That adult-but-not-quite-adult-job feel.] I hope everyone has a great time! Please take some cool photos and videos for social media!
Man! My flight doesn't land until 3:15ish. I wish I could come.

@[1234beyblade] Huh? Oh! That was when it was on Sunday. We were going sightseeing on Sunday.
I asked a friend if he would like to come, and he said yes.

If he plans to participate just make sure he makes a WBO account Grin

I am so dead to the world right now. A 2-hour ride home and a ton of intense battles. Big congrats to Kei for winning gold not only once, but twice, since HMS BeyBattle Revolution at Anime North last year! Asterisk, as well, for literally just being introduced to Burst and pulling second place at Burst Outta School! As for me, an average record for both events (4-4 and 5-5), but quite a few points to be lost. Tongue_out

Thanks to everyone that came out today! Photos will be uploaded to our Facebook tomorrow morning! At the moment, I really just want to shove my face in my pillow.
It kinda bugs me how close I came to achieving a flawless tournament sweep first place. 2-2 vs Kei in that last round of the final match before finals, going head to head with our valkyrie combos, only to lose with a horrendous anticlimax involving me shooting out of the stadium. I would've taken a burst, knockout, or outspin finish, literally any outcome involving me losing that match instead of what actually transpired.

That being said, man what a day! It was fun judging almost all the matches of the second tournament. BLADERS SET will be inscribed on my tombstone
Huge congrats to all the winners but especially Kei, so happy to see that you did so well! Awyeahhh. I hope everyone had fun and I really hope I can make it to a tournament soon!
I had a great time today! I was so happy to finally break through and get not only one, but two first places finishes for the first time in over a year ... Hard to believe it's been that long. I was curious, so here's an interesting statistic:

Since last time I placed first (HMS BeyBattle Revolution in May 2015), Toronto has hosted and I've participated in 26 tournaments and placed in the top four of 20 of them (2nd: 7 Times, 3rd: 7 Times, 4th: 6 Times) ... crazy. The seven second place finishes in particular because it means I lost probably four or five consecutive tournament clinching battles. It's been frustrating, to say the least.

Everyone was complaining how long the Limited event took after 1234beyblade's black Attack stadium pretty much melted in the sun at the start of the tournament and we were left with one Attack Stadium for the event, but I didn't mind. It was kind of cool to have just one battle going at a time with everyone watching. Not that I would want to do it again, though lol.

I feel your pain. I was 8-0 to start the Limited event–Flame Up The Summer Spirit–and then lost my last two battles of the round robin 3-2 ... haha.

That said, regarding the Burst event; I was happy to take what I could get in that final round. Tongue_out Still, it was so impressive to see you bounce back from 0-8 at the last event to 7-0 to begin this one and a 2nd Place finish! Don't think I've ever seen that dramatic of an improvement from one tournament to the next by any player.

I also don't think I've seen someone so dedicated to judging during the Limited event either, so thank you for that!

Thank youuu! We're thinking of doing one on Canada Day next Friday actually ... that will probably be determined by tomorrow.

Seriously considering this after the great job you did today corralling, playing with, and helping all of those kids who invaded while we were trying to finish the Limited event. Thank you again!

Dude, thanks so much for playing with them. I've worked with children before, but I don't think I'd be capable of handling any of them. They were all super excited about the game, which I was pretty glad to see though!

@[Kai-V] I put down a total of 8 credits for Kei because I think it is a maximum of 8 credits per week, though I am not sure so it would be great if you could check that out.
It is definitely a maximum of eight Credits per week except on BeyDays if we clearly specify it during the announcement. You could have left it at five Credits each and I would have calculated it at the moment of processing these two tournaments, but I appreciate that you did the mathematics yourself and added a note about it too.
