ZERO-G FORMAT

11:30 AM - BEYBLADE REVOLUTION

THE REVOLUTION BEGINS! The WBO is proud to announce that we will be partnering with ANIME NORTH 2013–for the sixth consecutive year–to host what will likely be the most exciting event in WBO history … the WBO North American Championship: BEYBLADE REVOLUTION!! With Bladers from across the continent will be battling it out for the title of WBO North American Champion, the competition will surely be intense.

Want to participate?
BEYBLADE REVOLUTION will be open to the public, but if you live in North America, and aren't able to afford the trip up to Toronto? Don't worry! We've got you covered; win one of our qualifier tournaments and you'll win paid travel expenses up to Toronto! Here's the list of qualifiers currently planned:

Entry: You need an AN Pass!
A Blader Passport is not required for this tournament, as AN does not allow event organizers to charge entry fees for events within the convention. However, if you want to support the WBO so we can host even better tournaments with even better prizes in the future, and participate in the BeyPoints ranking System in future tournaments, then you will need one! So, if you wish to purchase one at the tournament, that is still possible.

To participate in the tournament, you currently have a few options to gain entrance: a) a weekend pass or b) a day pass for Saturday at AN. Click here for information about online registration for ANIME NORTH 2013. Please note that children (ages 6-13) are admitted for half price.

Over the years, expanding the Blader population has always been one of the primary goals of the AN tournament; hence it was branded as "BEYBLADE CRUSADE" for the past two years. However, for those of you who have attended the event in the past, you'll know that there has always been a secondary goal behind the event: bringing friends together and the fostering of relationships. This has always been so incredibly meaningful and inspiring because of the wide range of people who attend the event: people who live just a few minutes away, people who live in another province, people who live in a different country, and even people who live on a different continent! And this year, with the qualifiers flying/busing in from across North America, this aspect will only be further emphasized.

If there is any chance that you can make it to the event, take it! It's an experience I can guarantee you won't regret, not only because you'll be competing for the prestigious title of WBO North American Champion, but because you'll meet fantastic people from across North America.

If you think you'll be able to make it out to BEYBLADE REVOLUTION, please post here and I will start building an attendance list!

so i am sorry everybody, i do really wish to come and hang out with you all for the third year i could have gone to this in a row.
maybe next year or something

EDIT: NVM! turns out i will be able to go Grin

How could you? Gasp

By the way, I'm just going to mention something now so that everybody knows: you do not technically need a pass to enter the gaming area of AN (where the tournament will likely be held), but I encourage you all purchase one if you can in order to support the convention and everything they do for us (free room, prize funding, etc.), and on the off chance that they start checking for passes.
I must find a way to get there and compete, I must find a way to win, I will be the revolution.

I already have something for that.

Of course you do; I do too. It isn't difficult to beat. I'm just saying that it is the most easily usable and competitive part for ZERO-G, which means that people are going to use it.

I think we already know what I am using Wink

Is anybody interested in purchasing any NIP BB-10's? We could possibly meet up at or before the event, just gives me a reason to show up xD Inquire via PM, thanks!

That's how It is until may usually
Small update: I received confirmation yesterday that the Beyblade Pass will unfortunately not be implemented again this year. Therefore, to participate in this tournament, you'll have to purchase an AN Weekend or Saturday Pass. Information on how to do that can be found below:

(Mar. 15, 2013  12:29 AM)Kei Wrote: A Blader Passport is not required for this tournament, as AN does not allow event organizers to charge entry fees for events within the convention. So, if you wish to purchase one at the tournament, that is still possible.

To participate in the tournament, you currently have a few options to gain entrance: a) a weekend pass or b) a day pass for Saturday at AN. Click here for information about online registration for ANIME NORTH 2013. Also, please note that children (ages 6-13) are admitted for half price.

Kei Wrote:If you plan on attending, I highly recommend that you purchase your Weekend/Day Pass online, as AN is once again implementing an attendance cap. According to their website, all Weekend Passes were sold out before the convention, and only 35% of the Saturday Day Passes were available on the day of the convention last year.

So if you plan on attending, I suggest that you purchase a pass as soon as possible! Both the Weekend and Saturday passes grant you access not only to the tournament, but to the entire convention. You do not need a pass to enter the gaming area, where this tournament will most likely be held, regardless, you should support AN and not take any chances.

Man that sucks sadly Unhappy. Curse you cruel fate! lol.......
I might go need to buy a pass but luckily I'm 13 so I can get that half off pass

It does ... but at least there is still plenty of time to save for a Weekend/Saturday Pass! And really, it is worth the price when you consider all of the other events you gain access to at AN.

Just don't do like I did and get kicked out... Twice in one day
That's too bad. AN should at least sell Gaming-only passes, $60 is really steep. That said, in my experience almost no badges get checked in the gaming section ... not sure I would risk it though.

They actually did a badge check on Friday last year. The only person they checked in the room was the only person who had a pass. IT was Blitz hah

It is. :\ And they have started checking over the past few years, I've noticed. But it isn't ever a comprehensive check, like Dark_Mousy alluded to (although, I'm pretty sure that there were other people besides Blitz who had Weekend/Saturday passes!).
