New Time & Location: 1PM at High Park
Hey everyone! It looks like there is a high chance of rain tomorrow. In an effort to increase our chances of avoiding it, I'm going to move the start time and venue of this event. The tournament will now begin at 1PM in High Park where we have the option to use the shelter, instead of 12PM at Dufferin Grove Park. More information below:

Kei Wrote:We'll be playing in the shelter where we usually play. If you're coming to High Park via the Bloor St W entrance, just follow that road down on the right side and you'll see the large building/shelter on the left hand side before you reach the tennis courts. If you have any questions about the location, please post here! This map has the area we'll be playing in roughly outlined:

What is Beyblade Burst?
Beyblade Burst is the brand new, third generation of Beyblade by TAKARA-TOMY! It launched in 2015 in Japan and is set to launch in North America in 2016. If you are not familiar with Beyblade Burst, please take a look at the Beyblade Wiki article covering it, the Bey News Thread, or the Beyblade General Forum.

Don't have any Beyblades from the new series? No problem! It's likely that people will have some on hand for sale, and if not, we would be glad to lend one to you for the duration of the event!

Spread the Word!
Are you as excited about the event as we are?! If so, be sure to tell your friends about it! And if you haven't already, follow us on Twitter, like us on Facebook, and subscribe to Zankye on Youtube!

I'm super exhausted (had a birthday with friends right after the tournament) and I have a whole lot to say about this event -- too much to say before I go to bed tonight! It was really fun and special for me. I'll be writing a long form post about what a great time I had tomorrow after work.
I just woke up and that was an amazing tournament next I'm going to use a bey launcher and I'm definitely going to another one thanks Zankye for the Pizza and Prizes
Finally I get to write a bit about the tournament!

First of all, thank you so much Toronto Squad for congratulating me so wonderfully about my promotion as WBO Social Media staff. It really pumped me up to both cover and play in the tournament! You're such a great group of people and I'm proud to call you my friends.

I went into this tournament feeling a little discouraged about my Revolve not arriving yet, so a big thank you to @[Lani] and @[Hato] for lending me yours! You are both incredible for helping me out! I loved the way Revolve felt as a driver and I think it really helped me to use that driver in many (if not all, honestly -- did I need to use anything else?) of my battles.

I was absolutely shocked and elated to win so many of my matches in the block round robin and advance to the finals for the second time ever! I was really satisfied with my 4-2 showing and I can really feel my shot improving and my arms becoming stronger. My aim is getting a little better, too! Though it wouldn't be a tournament if I didn't accidentally shoot out of stadium at least once (I did twice... s i g h)

The finals didn't go as well for me in terms of record, as I went 1-5 -- but geez, I had SO many close matches! My matches with @[LMAO] and @[Kei] were especially memorable and exciting for me, as they really went down to the wire. @[Mitsu] definitively smoked me, though.

Overall, this was a super encouraging tournament for me that made me excited about the new purchases I have coming in the mail.

Thank you SO MUCH Zankye for these amazing prizes, and the pizza, and just generally for taking care of us so well. You and your family rock.
