SATURDAY, APRIL 16, 12PM
DUFFERIN GROVE PARK, TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA
BURST FORMAT

JesseObre hosting a Beyblade tournament once again?!?! Woah!!! It's unbelievable!! Beyblade Burst will be releasing there new Dual Layers, and also very new Beyblade Products so why not test out these new Beys, with Dual the Layers, Dual the fun!

Location:
We'll be playing at Dufferin Grove Park near the basketball courts. If you have any questions on the specific spot of the park, don't hesitate to post below!

Map:

Entry Fee:
Tournament entry will cost six dollars a person, although if twenty dollars is payed, a Blader Passport would be yours, along with a cool Passport Face online! Most importantly, though, free tournaments until your passport expires the following year. How cool is that?

Side Note:
We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!

All questions for this tournament may be asked in this thread.

I am leaving right now, guys!

Going out for breakfast, then heading out to Dufferin Grove. I should be there at 12! Smile
The tournament has just finished, and the placings were:
1st: Mitsu
2nd: Kei
3rd: JesseObre
4th: Hato

Today was a great day, and so was the tournament! Today I had been using DeathScyther Gravity Revolve for most of my matches, as I found it had better LAD than Survive. It also found use in Valkryie Heavy/Gravity Revolve and Wyvern Heavy Revolve. I found Revolve to be a great part and big contender today.

I went 4-1 in my block, and moved to the finals, but lost my 3 matches in the finals. I went 4-4 overall. Congratulations to the placers! Hopefully I'll be one soon, haha.

Some other things that happened: 1234beyblade's Valkryie lost another spike by 'nature causes', A.K.A ripping it off and ending its misery Unsmith Thanks Kei for the BeyLogger insert (and handing them out to others)! We also got a lot of kids interested in what we were doing since there was a boy's birthday party a few feet away. It pretty awesome to see how excited these kids were! Grin Hopefully they join the WBO since Jesse gave one of their moms a promo card.

Overall, it was a great tournament! Smile

EDIT: Mixed up second and third and forgot to include Kei on the list! Sorry, bud ^^;
Will post more later, but just wanted to correct your results Hato haha:

1st: Mitsu
2nd: Kei
3rd: JesseObre
4th: Hato
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I know I did mix up second and third, but I got confused with who got second >__< Sorry Kei! Lips_sealed
Hey, at pyrus's place with a couple of other members right now. We attempted playing Monopoly but that got boring fast haha. Really fun day today, I definitely wasn't expecting to win! I have lots to say about the combos that were used today; will post my thoughts in a bit. Smile

edit: will be roasting an apple soon
explain these avatars
Your silly, adorable avatars fill me with joy. Many congratulations, everyone, for a job well done!
I learned 2 lessons from this tournament... NEVER use a mint unite, and NEVER go wyvern against an Xcalibur, I shall correct that for the next tournament and hopefully make it to top 3! Overall i had a lot of fun, there was a lot of dank memes. I also recorded this tournament as I said I would, so hopefully I can get the edited footage to Kei within a week!
Just uploaded the photos from today! https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=...ploaded=63

Wish you were there! Looking forward to seeing you at the next one! Smile

I didn't really get to doing this before but I really want to congratulate Hato on his fourth place win and @[Suntailhawk] as well for doing a super good job co-hosting! It's amazing to see the community continue to evolve in terms of skill and participant leadership!
Had a great time today, I was having a really bad week so it was fun to play with everyone in the sun today, looking forward to playing with all these new burst parts.

And many thanks to Scott for bringing us all the new parts and for the WBO beylogger inserts Smile

Yeah! It's always nice to see new faces–especially those who have certainly paid their dues and attended tons of tournaments previously–reach the top four for the first time! Nice job, Hato.

And good job also to Suntailhawk like you said! I gave you a little bit of a hard time when I was quizzing you on the rules, but you've been around for a long time now and were quite clearly knowledgeable enough about the rules to do a fine job today. Smile

No problem! It took a looong time to open so many new Beyblades so I could save space on my way home from Japan, but I was glad to be able to do it for all of you. I'm just sorry I didn't have a huge variety of WBO BeyLogger inserts left after my trip haha.

edit: 10,000th post! Gasp
Hey guys yestetday was a great turnout!! I was happy that we had a decent turnout and congrats to everybody who placed! Will post everything today
