Sunday, March 8th, 1PM
High Park - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Standard Format

Well, it’s been a while Toronto bladers, hasn’t it? It’ll be cool to see all of your faces once again, and hopefully see new faces as well! Get ready for MARCH BEYHEM! So get your Beyblade gear out, and be ready to battle! We're hoping to see a lot of Toronto bladers out there on March 8th! Assuming we have enough attendees, this will be an official WBO tournament, so make sure to get your Blader Passport for $10 if you haven't done so already! Or, simply pay $5 (per tournament) if you plan attending only this events.

Location:
We'll be playing in the shelter where we usually play. If you're coming to High Park via the Bloor entrance, just follow that road down on the right side and you'll see the large building/shelter on the left hand side before you reach the tennis courts. In case you guys haven't been to our regular tournaments, here are some visual directions.

Directions: (Click to View)

Format: Standard format, probably Block Round Robin.

Tournament Time: Free play and registration will start at 12, and the actual tournament will start at 1 PM.

Prizes: Will be determined at the tournament Wink

Side Note: We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!

All questions for this tournament may be asked in this thread.

We're keeping Toronto's bey-spirit alive, your support thus far is appreciated! Let's keep this up guys! If you wish to attend please post below, I'll start gathering an attendance list.

Hi guys,

I left my collection at a place I was staying at and won't be able to retrieve it until a couple of days after the tournament. I would really appreciate it if someone could lend me 1 - 2 beyblades + any launcher for the tournament.

this sad news means that cyber wont be coming Unhappy
Good luck to everyone tomorrow I hope you guys get enough bladers!
I can't go.. I have a project to do tomorrow at a friend's place and I wouldn't be able to drive to Toronto and return on time... Sorry Unhappy

I'm sure that won't be a problem! We'll find something for you to use; maybe nothing as good as Cyber, though.
Just finished packing and should be at High Park by 12:30 if not earlier; see you all tomorrow and looking forward to seeing you all again!

Hopefully we'll have enough attendees, though (which I'm assuming won't be an issue).
Everyone, don't forget that tomorrow is daylight savings time, so we'll be jumping ahead an hour tonight.

@[alucardZ] Hey, we finished not long ago. Honey and some of us are actually at the McDonalds at Runnymede and a Bloor right now. We'll be here for another 20 minutes.
A bunch of thoughts to sum up this tournament:

Kei sucks/ Cheaters everywhere/ Very cold/ I suck at hosting/ Midnights Hair/ Legends are beautiful/ Jesse has a tv show/ Jesse and Kei are probably the best bladers of all time next to Ginga and Tyson/ Suntails water thingy/ Lost parts everywhere/ I should have won/ Fun tournament/ 10/10 / Honest to god

Anyways, we were only able to get 7 people to come out, so there was only one winner, and that winner is:

dun dun dun dun

...

..

.

The Hall of Famer: Kei

Runner ups were: JesseObre and pyrus10000000000

The prizes were: Meteo L Drago, Burn Fireblaze, and Rock Leone.

Results and winning combos will be posted shortly Smile
Hahaha, please do one of those for every tournament LMAO. Honest to god.

I believe this was my third time ever going undefeated, so that was exciting, but more importantly it was great to see you all again! I had a lot of fun. Looking forward to the next one.

@[OldSchoolâ„¢] Where were you?!
Wow was that an awesome day! Arguably one of my favorite tournaments .. honest to god lol.

I landed up with a score of 3-3 and fourth place, like I did the last even with seven attendees. Had of we had one more, we wouldn't be limited to some credits and faces. Why didn't you come out today, OldSchool? Unhappy

To inform you all, I'll also be hosting the last week of March; I'll get some more information up soon. Which format would you guys want, though; Zero-G or Limited? I'm personally down for doing Limited, although last year, out of our 21 events, not even a quarter of them were Zero-G. New year, more Zero-G?

Cool seeing you all again; today was definitely a good way to start off 2015!

EDIT: Scott and Jesse, in the end, I ended up getting the stuff from AlucardZ, by the way.
I can't believe I missed this! Unhappy Too bad I had to do a project... Uncertain

Aww, to bad you guys didn't get 8 for all those credits ;3 but at least you guys had an official tournament Tongue_out

I'M UP FOR ZERO G!!! YAAAAAAAAS ZIRO GEEEEEEEEEEE
Congrats to the placers!

It was nice seeing everyone again. Looking forward to the next one Smile
skurttttttttt

Ugh,Cant believe I missed this one

Anybooty,I was at a fundraiser till like 1:00 in the morning, all my energy was drained

I would like to see Zero G as the next format. Down with limited.
Posted an announcement for the next tournament; state whether you'd be able to come or there's a chance of that happening here. http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Toronto-...pid1258125 Smile
Sorry guys. Family emergency and I left my phone at the hospital xD
Gratz to all the that made it!

ps- how many people made it and who placed?
We had to do a seven-attendee tournament like back in November. Luckily, events like this are now legalized, though, but limited to some more minor things. Kei won the event, Jesse went second and Pyrus went third.
Time to enforce a rule where cookie-cutter is not allowed in the final rounds haha.
