BEYBLADE REVIVAL CUP
SATURDAY, MAY 29, 2010
Anime North 2010 @ Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel

Golden Delicious Room
STANDARD (MFB/BMF) FORMAT

9 AM - Free Battle and Set Up
10 AM - "Beyblade 101" Workshop
11 AM - Free Battle and Registration for Beyblade Revival Cup
12 PM - Beyblade Revival Cup Tournament

In 2008, we hosted the BEYBLADE'S NOT DEAD! tournament- which was planned well before we knew that just one short year later MFB would be launching in Japan. However, now the time has come for Bladers all across the nation to celebrate the launch of BEYBLADE: METAL FUSION in Canada! Thus, for the third year in a row we will be hosting our marquee event at ANIME NORTH 2010, hosted by ANGaming, this year under the title; BEYBLADE REVIVAL CUP!

No Beyblade? No problem! We're going to try to obtain Beyblades to bring with us so you'll be able to draft the parts to form a full Beyblade (for approx. $10), then you can play and trade with other Bladers before the tournament to hone your skills!

A Blader Passport is not required for this tournament, as AN does not allow event organizers to charge entry fees for events within the convention, however if you want to support the WBO so we can host even better tournaments, with even better prizes in the future, and also participate in our world ranking system, the BeyPoints System, then you will need one!

We encourage all Bladers, both the brand new and the old to attend! With Beyblade becoming mainstream again, this has the possibility of becoming the largest tournament we have ever hosted, which means that competition will be fiercer than ever! You don't want to miss it! Hope to see you there!

If you think you'll be able to come, please post here and I will start building an attendance list!

BEY MEET-UP - FRIDAY MAY 28TH
6pm @ Doubletree Lobby

For those of you who can make it on Friday, we're planning on having a small meet-up. It shouldn't be too hard to find us; stadiums will be strewn about the floor, and I'll try to get a BEYBLADE BATTLE STATION poster up.

If there is enough people, we could potentially have a single elimination tournament as well (don't want to complicate things for something small like that).

Need-to-Know Information

1. During Registration, Open Your Account Page

Open your account page on your mobile device (if possible) during registration to help us keep things quick.

2. Arrive On Time

You must arrive by the tournament start time to enter. We cannot add new players to an event once it begins. If you're running late, contact the host.

3. Stay Aware of Your Belongings

We do everything possible to ensure a safe environment, but can't be held responsible for lost or stolen goods. Keep your gear close by!

4. The Tournament Will Last At Least a Few Hours

This event is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!

5. Listen For Your Username To Be Called

Your name will be called when it's time for your next battle. If you need to leave early or take a break, tell a judge. Missing a match could mean disqualification!

6. Players Must Meet Regional Product Age Restrictions

All players in this event must meet the age restrictions on Beyblade products in their region. TAKARA-TOMY recommends Beyblade for ages 6+. Hasbro recommends Beyblade for ages 8+. Players under these ages may only participate with the permission of their parent/guardian.

7. Players Under 18 Must Be Accompanied by a Parent/Guardian

If you are under 18 years old, a parent/guardian must accompany you and be present for the duration of the event.

8. Contests, Raffles, Gambling, Betting, and Selling Are Prohibited

Advertising the sale of any product or service, as well as posting about any contest, raffle, gambling, or betting on this event page and conducting them at the event without approval by Fighting Spirits Inc. staff is prohibited. Please contact the Organized Play team if you require approval.

9. Terms of Service

All event attendees and users of this website are subject to our Terms of Service.

Just saw the video, and here I was thinking before that you guys had no sense of humor. Wink

Just out of curiosity what was the bey that pwned (sorry brad, xD)
the battle striker? Also can't wait for HPT, Mom ain't stopping me whether she likes it or not this time! Smile

EDIT: also any faces being handed out at HPT?
Hey quick question.
Didn't yall say YTV or beyblade.com or what ever was pose to be at this event?
Did they ever come?
Yeah that never happened.
Dang that blows. They should have least told the truth and say they weren't coming then lying.
Man, I'm not in any videos. I hope atleast my battle were in there.
We took a fair bit of footage, so it's premature to say that.
The download keeps freezing for me and lowers my kb rate. It stopped at one point and went from 500 to 117kb and its still lowering.

Edit: Finished Dling ROFL. Argen didn't know you could get that amped thought you were the quiet type.
Woo! Minion was my first opponent at BND! Congrats! Congrats to the other winners as well. I'm glad things went well. Good job guys.
I'm not surprised you guys were so excited that a Beyblade beat a Metal XS Striker, considering how rare it is. Grin

There was a screening of (according to the program guide) the dub twice during the weekend. I wouldn't be surprised if that's what they were refering to. I did see a few TV crews on my walks around the venues. So, hey.
They always go to the Anime North conventions, but they probably air like 5 minutes of whatever they find.
ICE BURN o.o? Confuzzled.
Does anyone know the kid who went my the name Wolf123 at the tournament? He was a young kid so I have a feeling he came with a friend to the tourney. The username he provided is not in our site.
It might have been that guy who used dark wolf. or the Kid with glasses who didn't talk much. Either way I don't think he knew that the username he was giving was one for the site he might have thought that you were asking him to make a username.

Yeah. I made him an account under that name for now for the BP Ranking, but we should figure out if he actually does have an account on here so we can merge it.

edit: Granted everyone who attended BRC the Face of Days. I have now entered my fourth row of Faces. Seems like Khel and Flight have done so as well. Cool
(May. 31, 2010  12:17 AM)Kei Wrote: Yeah, just barely lol. It's a good thing Khel ran out to Wal-Mart before the tournament. Also, why didn't you end up coming to the tournament? D:

Dad forgot what day it was, And he set up a Job two days before the tourny T-T
Ah well, Get yeah guys at HPT!!
