12 PM - Beyblade Revival Cup Tournament
In 2008, we hosted the BEYBLADE'S NOT DEAD! tournament- which was planned well before we knew that just one short year later MFB would be launching in Japan. However, now the time has come for Bladers all across the nation to celebrate the launch of BEYBLADE: METAL FUSION in Canada! Thus, for the third year in a row we will be hosting our marquee event at ANIME NORTH 2010, hosted by ANGaming, this year under the title; BEYBLADE REVIVAL CUP!
No Beyblade? No problem! We're going to try to obtain Beyblades to bring with us so you'll be able to draft the parts to form a full Beyblade (for approx. $10), then you can play and trade with other Bladers before the tournament to hone your skills!
A Blader Passport is not required for this tournament, as AN does not allow event organizers to charge entry fees for events within the convention, however if you want to support the WBO so we can host even better tournaments, with even better prizes in the future, and also participate in our world ranking system, the BeyPoints System, then you will need one!
We encourage all Bladers, both the brand new and the old to attend! With Beyblade becoming mainstream again, this has the possibility of becoming the largest tournament we have ever hosted, which means that competition will be fiercer than ever! You don't want to miss it! Hope to see you there!
If you think you'll be able to come, please post here and I will start building an attendance list!

BEY MEET-UP - FRIDAY MAY 28TH
6pm @ Doubletree Lobby
For those of you who can make it on Friday, we're planning on having a small meet-up. It shouldn't be too hard to find us; stadiums will be strewn about the floor, and I'll try to get a BEYBLADE BATTLE STATION poster up.
If there is enough people, we could potentially have a single elimination tournament as well (don't want to complicate things for something small like that).

As it says in the opening post of the thread ...
Kei Wrote:Details regarding the location, time, and prizes are scarce right now, but as I get them, this thread will be updated. I can guarantee you that prizes will be awesome though, as they have been in the past.
What I do know is that it will be at one location, no switching. That wouldn't make much sense, would it? haha

Haha, we're all quite friendly, so there is nothing to be scared of! There has been plenty of younger kids at our tournaments, just take a look at the BEYBLADE WAR ROOM and HIGH PARK THROWDOWN videos on BeyChannel.
edit:
Gadget, just to clarify, should I put you on the attendees, or possible attendees list?

Sure thing. I hope you can come!
Performance wise, none that we know of at this time. But they will be out later this month, so I suppose differences, if any will be discovered then.
You don't have to buy one, as AN does not allow event organizers to charge to enter events within the convention. However, if you want to be listed in our world rankings system, the BeyPoints System (which should be re-launched soon!), then you will have to have purchased a Blader Passport. Besides this is the fact that the $10 you spend on buying one helps the WBO pay for various things, such as hosting to keep the website up and funding for future tournaments.

You don't need a Beypointer for anything at the tournament, so no. However, as I explained above, it would be good for you to purchase a Blader Passport!
As I explained in the PM I sent you, the "at the door price" you're talking about is for Anime North itself, which is $55 for the weekend or $40 for Saturday. That will give you a pass to access the tournament, along with the rest of the convention.
so.. Kei what your saying (or what I gathered) is that I'll have to bring $40.00 to go into the tournement? or is it the $5.00 entrance fee I heard about?
Also, could you please explain the beypoints system? I saw the "argument" on the forums and was confused. Being as this was my first day. As I understand that you do not know the location or time of the tournement/event.Last question: is storm pegasus and Lightning ldrago going to be out by then or no?
Thank you for taking the time to answer these

You have to pay forty dollars to get inside the convention, which the tournament is held in. We cannot charge an additional five-dollar entry fee for the tournament itself considering this already high price for Anime North access.
With the Beypoint System, you will be able to get a ranking against other World Bladers by simply competing in approved tournaments. And to play in tournaments you usually have to either pay five dollars or get a Blader Passport for ten dollars.

Ok 40$ usually tournements entry fee is 5$ but this one is excluded due to the 40$ price.
Might be hefty but i'll try to gain my beyblades, buy a blader pass (because i'll really want to come to more if I enjoy it.)
May be able to get some MF beyblades, etc on my birthday (may 13)

Yeah, that's what I thought. But please everyone, if you come, buy a pass! With an event as big as this will be, they might start checking.

I really want that 100RF
is there any beyblade that you can buy that's isn't involved with luck that has 100RF?
