> All stations will feature the Takara-Tomy Xtreme stadiums for tournament play.
> Each Blader must have THREE UNIQUE NON-PART REPEATING Beyblades to use for each match henceforth referred to as a Deck. You are not discouraged from having multiple Beyblades on hand.
>Decks WILL BE registered before the tournament; you cannot change your deck during the tournament
Tournament Structure
The Tournament will be formatted like so: Swiss X Rounds 3on3 4pts -> Top 4 Double Elimination 3on3 7pts X determined by the amount of players and the swiss formula
Swiss format involves you playing out multiple matches equal to the amount of rounds. Your record at the end of these rounds determines if you advance or not. Ties in the standings will be broken by Tiebreakers built into the Bracket.
Double Elimination provides all players with two opportunities. A blader is not eliminated from the bracket until they have lost two matches during the phase.
Match Structure
> Each match will be a race to 4 or more points.
> Top cut Matches will be a race to 7 or more points for a player to move on.
> A Blader scores points when:
> A Spin Finish (1pt) occurs. This is when the opposing Beyblade stops spinning.
> An Over Finish (2pts) occurs. This is when the opposing Beyblade falls into the Stadium Over pocket or exits the stadium through the top of the shroud (Any Bey that falls into an Over pocket but quickly bounces back into the stadium is not considered an Over Finish)
> A Burst Finish (2pts) occurs. This is when the opposing Beyblade is disassembled from too much damage to the Bey’s locking mechanism (2 Points) (Partial disassembly is not counted as Burst Finishes. The tip or ratchet must fully come apart from a connecting piece during battle)
> An Xtreme Finish (3pt) occurs. This is when the opposing Beyblade is knocked out of the stadium and into the center Xtreme Zone. (Any Bey that falls into the Xtreme zone but quickly bounces back into the stadium is not considered an Xtreme Finish)
Rematch/Mulligan Rules
> twice a match you get a Mislaunch. This mislaunch is used up in one of three ways
A) You mislaunch immediately into a pocket be it Over or Xtreme with no contact occurring between beyblades. B) You feel yourself mislaunch and immediately upon doing so call a mislaunch. This again must be done immediately any amount of play seen outside the time needed to say it forfeits your chance to call a mislaunch. C) You Launch Early or Late. To be clear you may only use a mislaunch twice a match. Once all mislaunches are used up any further errors of this kind will result in conceding a point to your opponent, you only get two overall
No Fault Rematch
>Snipe Launch- If the two beyblades make contact prior to both making contact with the stadium floor then a relaunch will be called with neither player being docked any mislaunches. Should repeated snipes occur bladers will be asked to adjust their launch stance to ensure a fair launch can occur
Extra Rulings
Extra KO Zones: Exiting out of the top or sides of the stadium is considered an Over Finish for this tournament. (Any Bey that falls into an Over pocket but quickly bounces back into the stadium is not considered an Over Finish)
Metal Needle Ban: DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE METAL NEEDLE IN ANY STADIUM AT THIS COMPETITION. IF FOUND USING METAL NEEDLE YOU WILL BE KICKED OUT OF THE TOURNAMENT
Judge’s Authority
> A Judge’s call is final. If a match is being recorded a player may challenge a judge call for review of footage. If the Judge’s ruling stands then the Blader responsible for the challenge will lose one of their mislaunches.
Tournament Conduct
> All Bladers must adhere to Top Deck Game’s attendee policies. No exceptions.
