This event will be played in a Group Round Robin 3 on 3 teams format, where each team will have 3 players each selecting 1 Beyblade composed of completely unique parts to that of the other team members. (CX Lock Chips can be repeated.)
Team members upon entering a battle must assign themselves an order: 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
The team leader of each team must inform the judge of the teams order before commencing with the following sequence of battles.
The teams format will be conducted in a knockout system, for example: Blader A1 defeats Blader B1 via Knockout finish. Blader A1 will stay on and Blader B2 would then battle. The winning team is declared once all of the opposing team has been defeated.
Points will reset after every bout. However, the total points scored from the entire match will be documented and total points scored across the entire group stage of the tournament and will be used to towards the final standings to separate tie-breakers.
Top-cut (Top 2 from each group) will be also be a single elimination with the same knockout system in place. However, each bout will be to 4 points. Meaning that Blader A1 would have to score 4 points before Blader B1 is eliminated.
Team members are NOT aloud to assist once the selected team member has stepped forward and presented their Beyblade to the judge and opposition.
A complete Beyblade must include all necessary parts for their respective system. This can include a Beyblade bought as is, or customized from a variety of Blades, Ratchets and Tips including;
- All Hasbro BBX Products
- All Takara Tomy BBX Products
The part Metal Needle (bit) is currently banned across all events due to the damage it can cause to stadiums.
For more rules and regulations please see the WBO Player handbook and for further information of Team formats, please see the official Beyblade X YouTube Channel. However, the following additional rulings will apply:
- Exiting the top of the stadium and not returning to play is to be treated as a no points and re-shoot.
- Shooting directly into a pocket warrants a warning, after 2 warnings all further errors are treated as Own Finish (1 point) and will eliminate themselves from the bout
- Own Finishes where an Over or X-treme finish occurs without contact of the 2 battling Beys. Will award 1 point to the surviving Bey and a re-shoot will occur. A maximum of 2 re-shoots will be allowed before the player will be eliminated.
- When a Bey enters an Over-Zone and continues spinning, the judge will count down from 3 seconds before allowing players to collect their beys, this allows for any self revive mechanics to take place.
Once the 3 on 3 teams tournament has concluded, a final bout will take place between the participants of the winning team.
This will take place in the BX-32 Wide 3-Player Extreme Stadium using a single (1) bey format.
Participants of this bout are allowed to reselect their beys if they wish to. However, to comply with new single Bey format rules please see below for banned parts (In this battle only*)
- Wand Wizard*
- Metal Needle
All points from the finishes of the other two players are awarded to the last person remaining.
The player who first accumulates a total of 5 points will be declared the victor and the winner of the Limited Edition Red Dran Buster!
