"Guys!" Marco said to me and my friends.
"What?" I said.
"I got a new bey."
"How do you afford all these beys? What if your picked?"
"I won't.I know it."
"Did you get it of the blacksmith?"
"Yeah....."
"Well tommorows the opening cermony and it'll be crawling with beykeepers."
"Yeah well........"
"Come on lets have a match."
"What stadium?"
"My Takara?"
"Sure."
"3.2.1"
"Spin it like you mean it!"
Thats what we say here in District 12.District 9,10 and 11. Like the saying "Let it rip" They say in district 1,2,3 and 4.and "Go shoot" they say in District 5,6,7 and 8. By the way my name is Kating Evergreen.
"Cling cling cling.....I wish we got proper ones like the Capitol ones." Marco said anxiostly.
"I win." I said as I knew I would win.
"Oh well.I need to rest.Goodnight."
"Bye Im going hunting with my bow."
"What else would you hunt with?"
I go to the forest when Marco goes to sleep. To hunt for dinner.
I go home and get my bow. I say hi to my little sis, Christina.Or as I call her Chrisi. "I made some cheese!"She says as she stuffs herself with the bread I dropped on the table that Peeta gave me.Peeta Melmark. The best baker in town!
"Ok Ill have some."I say as I stuff myself.
"Bye!" Chrisi says.
Ten minutes later....
I've shot 3 birds and 5 fish.
What do you think?
Never mind....First thing Ill do is go sell a few to Peeta's Dad.
Maybe hell give me a cupcake for Chrisi, like he usally does.
"Hi Mr.Melmak!Look what I got!"
"Brilliant!! Ill give you three cakes or loafs oof bread of your choice!"
"Ok.Ill have one cupcake for Chrisi,a loaf of bread and a choclate cake please."
"Ok.Thats two birds please. Hows your mum and Chrisi?"
"Fine. Chrisi's goat is going to have two babies. Do you want some cheese?"
"No thanks. Here you go. Goodluck"
"Is Peeta here?"
"No, he's out with friends."
"Okay."
"Bye,"He says hopefully ",hope you wont get picked in the Beygames."
"Thanks see you."
I go home and cook the fish.
"Chrisi, you can have your cupcake when your done your dinner."
"Ok...I love the fish!"
"Thanks don't worry about the beygames.Its your first one you won't get pick."
"Hopefully"
"Goodnight."
The next day."
"Lets go."I say to Chrisi.
"Ok."
"Yes." My mother says.
We arive at the Beygames and suprisingly President Fire is there.
"Welcome.Welcome.Happy Beygames and may the odds be ever in your favour."
Ellie Winket steps in and says "Ladies first."She reaches in and ruffles her hand around the bowl.Out comes a name and Im littraly thinking 'Please dont be me' And of course it is me.
Then Peeta is picken.
"Ladies and Gentle men, Peeta Melmark and Kating Evergreen!"
But When I was Ten, I was downing in a lake and Peeta saved me.
How could I kill him?
Trying to get to grips with the new stuff after taking an eight year break from the franchise :D
