When you take off the screws, the internal gear will pop out, but it is very easy to pop it back in if you remember what position it was in before it was taken out. Of course, If you don't open it after taking off the screws with the Right Spin side facing you, that would be a little hard to tell, but with a bit of testing you could bring it back in its original position.
When you do pop it back in, do NOT stress the string to be able to retract into the launcher perfectly, it it just fine if it hangs out just a little bit. I tried that myself, and wasted precious minutes trying to do that, just to give up in the end.
So to summarize it all, the main gear and a few small pieces will fall out unless flipped on one of its sides, but will not break. Try not to add tension to the string while reeling it back into place if the gear does fall out, and don't make it too perfect.
Hope this might help,

Thanks so much Wizard Blader!
So just to confirm, when I take it out some parts will pop out but if I open the screws on the left side and put the right spin side on the top they won’t fall out? And if they do fall out I just have to fiddle (not to aggressively) with it until it fits? Then if the string falls out I slowly retract it into the launcher, but don’t stress it?
Sorry if that’s a lot of questions I just want to make sure I don’t break this thing.
No problem, and to answer your questions:
1: When you take it out, yes if you open the screws on the left side and put right spin on the top they might not fall out. Its been a few months since i did that, but I could try taking apart his launcher to see if that is true, before you try doing it.
2: If they do fall out, you don't really have to fiddle with it much, just line the pieces up in their places and you will be good! Again, Ill test doing this myself so then you don't have to do this part.
2: For the string part, this is only if the pieces fell out, and the little metal rings that lead the string to the outside (Meaning the part of the string that you pull) are misaligned with their places. This part is moderately easy, the only difficulty being the reeling in while the launcher is disassembled, and tightening of the string if it got looser.
Before doing any of this, ill experiment with my brother's launcher before I confirm that anything that I have said is possible. Should not take me long, so ill most likely have the next reply up here in less than 30 minutes if I'm lucky.
