So be warned, everything below this spoiler tag is all just conjecture. I'd like to think it's fairly educated conjecture, since I've been documenting past releases and their patterns since like... 2016/2017? But still, if I see anyone parroting the below as "leaks" or whatever (which past experience has taught me is very likely bc my beyblade-related ideas attract reposters like moths to a flame lmao), I'll be giving you the stink-eye, lmao.
September 2020:
- B-172: Booster with the new Spriggan. This makes the most sense since September is usually a major release month. Obviously this would feature a new Chip, Ring, and Double Chassis. As for the Driver, I could see them making something new, but if Brave Valkyrie is any indication, there's a pretty good chance they'd either recycle an existing part or 'revamp' one. Personally I'd like to see a "Zeta Metal" the most if it's the latter case, since it seems relatively easy to just substitute the existing tip part with a metal one of the same design.
- B-173: Sparking Beylauncher LR. Another inevitability, and I doubt they'd debut this with Spriggan since it'd be a whole new beefy tooling. This could come in the same red/black/white scheme as the original Beylauncher LR, but personally I'd like to see a new take given that would look an awful lot like the Sparking Beylauncher L's scheme.
October 2020:
- B-174: Random Booster Vol. 22, with the prize being the new Achilles. This is a pretty dire take, I know, but given how dirty Aiga has been done since the end of Cho-Z, this tracks pretty well, lmao. Obviously this would have a new Ring and Chip, and I think they'd make a new Single Chassis for this too, if only to diversify their options. I think it'd be nice to see a new Disc introduced in this one too, and just have the Driver be Dimension' or something. As for other pulls, I have some ideas;
- [new ring] Achilles.[new disc].Dm' 3B
- Mirage Helios (since we've already seen King Fafnir)
- [new ring] Valkyrie
- throwaway Superking combo (Super Ragnaruk? Brave Satan? idk)
- throwaway GT Combo (hopefully something that needs a reprint like Knockout, Odin, or stuff that wears like Judgement/Lord, etc.)
- Prime Apocalypse
- Regalia Genesis
- Galaxy Pegasis.00.Pl (as sort of a teaser for the Baku Set, a-la LL in RB17 and DZV in RB21. This one would specifically be based on the Black Sun version of Galaxy Pegasis, hence the Planet to recreate GB145MS)
November 2020:
- B-175: Superking Customize Set. Same deal as the last few Customize Sets, but given all the initially advertised Legend Bladers have been exhausted by this point, idk what could be in here. I suppose this could be the introduction points for some new villains like they did with GT, but I'd prefer the new gimmick nonsense to be minimal. Might be cool to see the Metal Chip Cores released in here like the Metal Godchips were in the God Customize Set.
- B-00 wbba. Store Exclusive Booster. No idea what could be in here, but if the Lord Achilles from August is any indication, I think they're using this as an outlet for reprinting parts that are too unwieldily to put in a Random Booster? So maybe this could have Imperial or Generate, or something like that.
December 2020:
- B-176: Starter, probably a new version of the one of the Hero beys? I'll elaborate on this when we get to January, because with my ideas I can't really talk about one without the other.
- B-177: Random Booster Vol. 23, with the prize as one of the 15 Legendary Bladers that (probably) won't in the anime, kinda like how Diabolos was the focus of RB21. Personally I'd either pick Deathscyther or Xcalibur, since an Attack-type Single Chassis hasn't been explicitly made a thing in this theoretical road-map (the only place could be introduced is in the Customize Set but that's complicating things too much). Here's some even shakier ideas for pulls;
- new Deathscyther/Xcalibur 4A
- throwaway Superking combo
- throwaway Superking combo
- throwaway Superking combo
- throwaway Superking combo
- Driger Vulcan recolor (red?)
- Draciel Viper recolor
- I want this to be a Ray Unicorno based on the Aurora version... but knowing how TT can be it'll probably be another BSB remake. Dragoon V2 or something equally ghoulish, I guess, lol
- The MFB 2020 Baku Set will probably ship sometime around here, since the MFB Anniversary Set was listed around this time (as in This Time Right Now, July) last year and then shipped in December. I *did* have part predictions for them ready to go for this, but now that they've been confirmed, I will shut up. But I'm just saying,,, 12E and 10F would have been much better Disc/Frame choices for Ray Unicorno and Meteo L-Drago, lol
January 2021:
- B-178: Booster, and I can see two ways this could potentially play out given this slot is now apparently the designated "Final Boss" release for some reason. (I prefer the December Starter for that, but since that's not really a thing anymore we're not doing that.) So here are my two concepts;
- December Starter is a fusion of Hyperion and Helios, and the January Booster is the evolution of either Lucifer or a new final boss from the Customize set.
- December Starter is an evolution of Hyperion, and the January Booster is an evolution of Helios. (No this is not one of those dumb "x character is become evil????" propositions, I assume if this route was taken then either the big final battle would be Hikaru and Hyuga's new beys vs. the villain or Hikaru and Hyuga having a final battle to see who's strongest or whatever)
February 2021:
- B-179: Random Booster Vol. 24. This would take the same form of "an excuse to rerelease rare versions of things with a new remake" that the last few February Random Boosters have. As for the Prize, I think Basalt Horogium would make the most sense, since it's a major release for the old series that isn't quite as iconic, generally speaking? I'd argue it's more recognized than Burn Phoenix, but that's besides the point. As for the other pulls, here's my thoughts;
- Superking Combo w/ 1D "Rare Version" (basically the Curse Satan 1D with green metallic plating, since the Random Boosters don't get the same 1/72 rare version treatment that other releases do)
- Superking Combo w/ 3B (from the fictional RB22) "Rare Version"
- Superking Combo w/ 4A (from the fictional RB23) "Rare Version"
- Master Dragon II (Gold Turbo ver.)
- Perfect Phoenix (Black Wing ver.)
- Bigbang Genesis (i guess this would be just a general recolor?)
- Gaia Dragoon V (another general recolor, rounding out the rereleases of V-Series layers)
- Basalt Horogium.Wh.Rs (I would have picked Yielding for the consistancy of it being a WD substitute but i don't think they'd be able to make clear POM to match the tip/track lmao)
- B-180: For the last main release, I wanna get crazy. Since Double Chassis haven't been getting reprints due to not being featured in Random Boosters, I think it makes sense for them to give the Random Layers one last shake to get some more reprints out there! Random Layer Vol. 4! And since this would technically be the last one, I feel like it'd be fitting to recycle the format of the final Random Layer gacha (RLC Vol. 11) by making the prize just a rare layer, so I think that First Uranus would be a perfect fit. By this point we've gone so far down the timeline that coming up with what the pulls would be is a bit iffy, but given how the Chassis vary in their compatibilities with spin directions, I don't think we'd be risking the return of RL Vol. 3's awful format, lol.
March 2021:
- B-00: wbba. Store Exclusive Booster. I don't know what'd be in here, but I do really hope this would be the definitive end of Beyblade Burst. This series has already shown how far stripped back they're willing to make their releases (very few starters and new discs/drivers), and while it hasn't been awful so far, I really don't want them to keep it going past this series. Thematically speaking, it wouldn't be horrible to end the series on a season that pays so much tribute to the origins of the series. Plus since if MFB is any indicator, being forced to end prematurely creates its own issues, so TT ending Burst essentially on its own terms would be fine. Maybe they could get Hasbro to frankenstein together some continuation series for after Sparking if they really need it, idk. Bottom line, I just want them to take a break from Beyblade, and maybe a few years later they can start a new Series with a new System so the cycle can begin anew.
Anyway, that's it. You can go home now. I may come back here to update my conjecture if I end up being super-duper wrong. Thanks for reading this far!
After looking through the predictions, I somehow feel a little less excited for the Sparking toyline now. Granted, I know that these predictions are just speculations and TT could subvert our expectations but so far, these predictions seem very likely so far IMO.
Realistically, they were never ever going to make all 15 of the Legendary Bladers which is such a shame but unsurprising at the same time. It makes me wonder why they even introduced the whole "15 Legendary Bladers" garbage in the first place, unless they're just one time fan-service or just test dummies for Lean to defeat off-screen (or off-panel in the manga lol) to show just how "awesome" he is.
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Basalt Horogium really was the final prize bey for Random Boosters and whilst I like the BSB and MFB remakes, I really hope we don't get ones that take the spot as the
only main prize bey spot for the series' last RB (like Driger F and Burn Phoenix).
Eh, I will think of something to put here...
... later ;)
